According to MedlinePlus.gov, Clonidine treats high blood pressure by decreasing your heart rate and relaxing the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body. Hello i found a little peach colored pill with L 165 printed on it. Can anyone tell me what it is? ## I haven't been able to find a listing for this, but that is most likely because it is an over the counter product and those imprints are not required to be listed with the FDA. However, the L followed by 3 additional numbers is used by LNK International and they only manufacture over the counter products that are sold by various stores as the generics or store brands. Learn more OTC drug details here. From the color, if I had to guess, I'd place it as being one of their antacid products, such as a generic for Pepcid, which contains the active ingredient Famotidine, but I can't be certain that's what it is. Where did you find it? ## clonidine 0.3 mg

It had a line on one side and an s on the other side very small and orange ## Hi lulu, I haven't found a definitive match, but from what little bit I could gather there are reports suggesting that this particular pill may contain 40mgs of Famotidine (Durater), made by a company called Senosiain Labs in Mexico. If this is the case, it would help explain why references are so hard to come by on US search engines. Apparently they list it as being "peach" colored and not orange. It's also reported to be about a quarter of an inch in diameter; but maybe you could try contacting the manufacturer directly to see if they can verify this for you. More details (although in spanish) on this medication from Senosiain Labs can also be viewed here: senosiain.com.mx/assets/files/pdf/ex...

Small peach/pink round pill with no marking scored on one side? ## Hi Denise, There's actually three different pills I found that fit this same description. The first is a 4gram oral raspberry chewable glucose tablet. The second is a 1000mcg Vitamin B12 tablet. And the third is a 10mg Diazepam tablet, made by "Investigación Farmacéutica" in Mexico. Since there doesn't appear to be a way to differentiate between these three options, I think your best bet would probably be to have the pill analyzed by a lab. This type of service can be a little costly, but I think the assurance of knowing what you have may be worth it, especially if you have kids/teens/pets around. I hope this helps!
