I have had irregular period since the very beginning. Diagnosed with pcos couple of years back. I am now 29 and dying to conceive. Problem is my partner is not very cooperative as he keeps withdrawing. Im currently on glucophage & primolut-n. Is there any meds I can take to increase my chances of conceiving with pretty less semen? :( ## To be honest, if you're partner doesn't want to have a child, at this time, forcing one on them is a very bad and irresponsible idea. If having a child right now is important to you, then you should seek a partner who is also ready for it. Has he said why he isn't ready? ## ????I was in severe depression before I contacted Dr Vipul Sharma. A sense of inferiority had seeped into my life due to prolonged infertility and amenorrhea. I was diagnosed with pcos& recently started taking glyco X 500. I'm overweight unable to lose it, I've had 2 menstrual cycles in the past couple years. Can anyone tell me if they've had these symptoms & have gotten better using the glyco X 500? ## Hello, Babydoll! How are you? The FDA classifies GlycoX as a supplement, which means that it's not actually been proven to do anything. Did your doctor instruct you to take this? Did they make any treatment recommendations? It has been found that PCOS can improve by improving someone's insulin resistance, but usually prescription antidiabetic medications are prescribed, as listed by the NIH.

I have pcos and I drank betamox and got bad side effects like difficult breathing rash on my face a lot of sneezing it was the first time this happened although I've used it a year ago ## Have you consulted your doctor? Betamox contains the active ingredient Amoxicillin, which is an antibiotic that's used to treat infections. And as to the reactions you experienced from it, our bodies do change with time, so it is possible to suddenly become allergic to something, even if you took it in the past, without any problems.

is pcos good in treating for pcos? i used Diane 35 at start. as it cause side affects my doctr perscribed Femilon. how its treatment on pcos work? will it be sucessful? ## Hi, Dania! How are you doing? Femilon is just another hormonal contraceptive, so the only way to see if it will work for you is to try it for a few months and see what happens. It will most likely cause side effects, as well, since it also contains synthetic hormones. PCOS/PCOD usually does well by replacing antioxidants in the body, adding vital nutrients and progesterone. What type of symptoms are you having from the PCOS? ## I started using femilon on the 3 day after my periods are done. I am I protected my femilon , can you please let me know , as I finished the packet 2 days back , but haven't got the periods...

I am a young adult and have just started taking Diane 35 for 3 days now and the first day I was fine. Last night I got really dizzy and hot, nauseous to the point I threw up about 5 hours after taking the pill. Are these normal? And if so how long will they last? I really want this pill to help me but if it is going to be like that Everytime idk if I could handle it. ## The typical side effects of this medication may continue for about 3 months, until your body gets used to it. They may also include headache, spotting, and other PMS-like symptoms, according to U.S. FDA reports. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? You may need to look into trying a different oral contraceptive, if they are severe and problematic.

I have been diagnoised with PCOD 5 years back. Before 3 years, i had undergone laproscopic surgery for Rt. Ovary Torsion where the Rt. ovary was also treated for cysts. After this laproscopic surgery, i am facing endometriosis problem - irregular periods, heavy and non-stop bleeding. I was given harmone tablets for the last 3 years (Regestrone, Primolut-N). I had to change doctors due to change of locations. The gynaec with whom i am showing now did a DNC 8 months back. 3 months after DNC i am again facing the endometriosis problem. Now the doc. prescribed glycomet 850 mg, etosys 500mg, gynaec CVP. As glycomet is given for treating diabetes, There is no diabetic history in our family. I took the Tri-sprintec 28 day supply, and I still have yet to have a (period) cycle begin , but I am experiencing menstrual like cycle cramps? This I've never dealt with I would like to point out that (I'm 5'8, 335 LBS. women) any thought to what I may be experiencing also prior to this event I walked 5k every day on a 3 week raw life style W/O any(minimal) Animal products ;-) ## Hello, KattyBUG! How are you? Some women don't experience periods, while taking this oral contraceptive, so it's nothing to worry about, unless your doctor feels otherwise. Your weight could also be affecting it, as listed by the FDA, some oral contraceptives aren't as effective for overweight women. Your weight could also worsen the PCOS and mess up your natural body hormones, so you c...

I stopped the metformin about 2 weeks ago, I was diagnosed with MS, and after they added Copaxone that made 5 medications and I wanted to cut some out, so I started with Metformin. Since then I've been achey, dizzy, and my jaw is hurting. Is this because I stopped the metformin? I also take Lamictal for bi-polar disorder, methylphenidate for ADD, and birth control. I've continued taking these. ## Those could be symptoms of your MS, rather than being due to any specific medication. MS is well known to cause random unexpected symptoms, according to NIH reports. But the Copaxone can also cause similar side effects. As to cutting out some medications, that might not be a good idea, sometimes we do need to be reliant on them for our health, and well being. How are you doing, now? Has...
