I recieved a prescription for Pantoprazole Sodium DR 40mg. But my pill looks completely different from what I've had in the past and is different from the descriptions I can find on what it should look like. I have a white, oval tablet with "97" imprinted on one side. The imprints vary between red or black in the same bottle. What do I have in my hands? I have been taking Pantop 40 for the last 4 months before taking anything else in the morning. I was ok and had no gastric problem. I purchased these tablets in India. Now I am in Australia.
