I have been taking pantium pantoprazole 40mg. While on holidays I discovered actavis pantoorazol 40mg (much cheaper). I m presuming the two are the same , just different manufacturers. We were receiving the Pantoprazole 40mg EC tablets, yellow~oval~w434. The last refill we received the Pantoprazole 40mg DR tablets, white~oval~KU181. These do not seem to be working as well as the original ones. We were trying to locate the differance between EC and DR. We did discover the DR means delayed release, but found no info on EC. I recieved a prescription for Pantoprazole Sodium DR 40mg. But my pill looks completely different from what I've had in the past and is different from the descriptions I can find on what it should look like. I have a white, oval tablet with "97" imprinted on one side. The imprints vary between red or black in the same bottle. What do I have in my hands?
