Pantoprazole 40

I recieved a prescription for Pantoprazole Sodium DR 40mg. But my pill looks completely different from what I've had in the past and is different from the descriptions I can find on what it should look like. I have a white, oval tablet with "97" imprinted on one side. The imprints vary between red or black in the same bottle. What do I have in my hands? Any help is appreciated. ## How did you look for it, did you just do a search for what Pantroprazole should look like, or did you search for that imprint? The imprint is what enables a pill to be identified. I have been taking pantium pantoprazole 40mg. While on holidays I discovered actavis pantoorazol 40mg (much cheaper). I m presuming the two are the same , just different manufacturers. I just had my Pantoprazole refilled and the pills are different .The new pill is white and oblong with the numbers 1097 printed on one side. We were receiving the Pantoprazole 40mg EC tablets, yellow~oval~w434. The last refill we received the Pantoprazole 40mg DR tablets, white~oval~KU181. These do not seem to be working as well as the original ones. We were trying to locate the differance between EC and DR. We did discover the DR means delayed release, but found no info on EC. Hi ! I'm 24 weeks pregnant and my dr gave me Topzole Pantoprazole 40 mg to take for the severe heart burn , its working like a boss , its the best . But now my question is does it form a foam in the stomach ?? I have been taking this pill (for heart attack recovery) since last fall. I already was being treated for vertigo and it seemed to make the vertigo worse plus made me be in a "fog" most of the time. I am taking Pantoprazole for severe acid reflux. Yesterday I started chemotherapy for breast cancer and have been prescribed Aprepitant to control nausea. Do I need to stop taking the Pantoprazole/ ## Dear mam, if ur on chemotherapy please use the pantoprazole domperidome combination or rabeprazole domperidome combination. Do not use separate meds. Aprepitant side effects are more serious than domperidome.

my doctor gave me this pill and it has not changed any of my symptoms (belching stomach growling sore and tight throat liquid sensation in my stomach) ...sometimes it feels like they've gotten worse.
