I TOOK PANTOP HP KIT A COUSE I AM OK BUT SOME TIME I FEEL MORE ASID IN MY STOMAK SO IS IT WRITE TO TAKE SOME DOSE TO CURE THE ASID ## Hi, Dhiraj! How are you doing? You may not actually need the whole kit, again. The HP kit contains an antibiotic and if it you take it, when you don't need it, then you create the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. At this point, you might just need an antacid or the PPI, such as the Pantoprazole that's in this. Learn more Pantoprazole details here. Have you consulted your doctor? You need to do so, before you take anything.

i took pantop hp kit in oct 2012 now i am ok but some time i feel asid in my stomak so it is write to take some dose of pantop hp kit ## Actually, it wouldn't be the full kit that you want, unless your doctor instructs you to take it. Because that also contains an antibiotic to eradicate the H. Pylori bacteria. If you're having an acid problem and a doctor hasn't said you need the antibiotic, then you'd just want the Pantop by itself or some other similar medication. Learn more Pantop details here. It's a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid produced by your stomach, but it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain. But you should also check with a doctor, before taking it, to make sure that it is safe for you to ...

Hello, I was prescribed pantoprazole 40 mg to help with my stomach pain. The medicine did make the pain leave. However, after the 8 week course my doctor reduced the dose to 20 mg and told me only to take it when necessary. I was taking 20 mg for only two days before my symptoms returned and I was forced to return to 40mg. I have an appointment scheduled with my doctor soon but I am scared that I might have stomach cancer( 39 year old female). What should I expect at mh appointment. Is a relapse normal so soon after reduction in dose? Thank you. ## Well, I'd say that it isn't time to panic, calm down and relax. I was prescribed by a doctor to tale proton 40. However i did not understand first the instruction of the pharmacist, all i was able to understan was to tale it BEFORE FOOD. And so i did it last night before eating, but now that I read the leaflet, it shows that i should be drinking it 1 hour before breakfast, i already have breakfast, is it still ok to take it? Because it says here that if your forgot to take proton 40, do not tale it late but continue it with the next regular dose on your dosing schedule. Does that mean i should just take it tomorrow before eating? Because if i do that, it will turn out that i interrupt the treatment, although i just started taking it up last night (which was a bad move)-.. ## Hello, J! How are you? Yes, you can still take it and then return to a norm...

I have already HP kit for h Pylori value 1.0496 for 10days still problem starts using hp kit for 5 days and pantop hp for remaining 5 days still having problem

Pantoprazol is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) which inactivates an Enzyme called Hydrogen-Potassium ATPase in our Stomach Parietal Cells which secrete Acid (Hydrogen ion or H+) into the stomach cavity in exchange for another positive Ion called Potassium(K) which goes back to the same Parietal Cell. It takes about 18 hours for this enzyme to come back after one dose of PPI. One pitfall in this process is the blocking of Bicarbonate (HCO3) which normally gets secreted into the thick mucus coating and protecting our Stomach mucosa in normal health. That means the drug that is expected to protect your stomach is actually taking away some of its natural protection! Prolonged use of PPI can atrophy the Parietal Cells which aso normally secrete Digestive enzymes like Pepsin and Amylase and ano...
