I have been experiencing pain around my left knee, especially while sitting and climbing stairs. The knee X-ray does not show significant wear and tear or a reduction in the joint gap. My orthopedist suggested that I try Proxym-200 and Pantolet-D. Could you please advise if it's advisable to use these, and also inform me of any potential side effects of these tablets? Thank you. ## Well, only you and your doctor can decide if they are okay for you to take, I can only give you information on the medications. Proxym contains the active ingredient Etodolac, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its side effects may include: nausea, headache, stomach irritation and dizziness. From what I can find, Pantolet-D contains Pantoprazole and D...

cream oval pill with p 40 printed on one side ## Based on your description, there is a yellowish oblong pill with P 40 on it … that pill is Pantoprazole 40 mg. It is manufactured in Canada, and is an antacid, generic for Pantoloc. Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do.

I am a 69 year old male who experienced upper gastric pain and was prescribed Mucosta t.i.d. times 7 days. After the very first dose of 1 tablet I began serious side effects: hypertension, constipation, inability to concentrate and panic attacks related to my inability to stop the effect of the drug. Depression and inability to experience happiness, or pleasure. I suspect my hypersensitivity may be related to the fact that I have genetically evolved essential tremor for which I have taken Corgard/Nadalol 40 mg for the past 20 years. WHAT IS THE HALF LIFE of Mucosta? I was given a 40 mg dose of Pantoloc which I also stopped taking after the first pill. I switched back to Omeprazole 20 mg which I took before with no problems and it seems to have ended the gastric pain.

The drug Pantoprazole and Tecta is it the same thing? Also can you take methadone with Pantoprazole?Jaml ## Hello, Hank! How are you? Yes, they are the same medication and they can be taken together, as long as they've both been prescribed for you by your doctor. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Pantoprazole as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence. Is there anything else I can help with? ## i have had an allergic reaction to tecta including hives, spinning dizziness, headaches, rapid pulse and feeling edgy, can I take plain pantoloc or will I be allergic to it as well?
