After the major surgery Of peptic ulcer bleed Pan D 40 was prescribed by the doctor along with medicines. I am on prednisone for 5 years. Taping up and down 40mg to 5 mg. When I am on 5 mg I became very sick and I am going back to 40 mg again. I am trying to stay on 5 mg and slowly become prednisone free. Is anyone there took a prednisone so long and now free from prednisone? I would appreciate all your answers. Thanks.
