If you have an infection, you're going to need an antibiotic, this will not treat that. This is a type of steroid, so it can help with some of the inflammation that makes it difficult to breath. Usually, misshapen fingernails are due to some type of vitamin deficiency, which you should get checked for, so you know which one your are deficient in. What do you normally eat? I have got bells palsy day 5, I think im getting gout I have arthrexin for gout, could I take this while im on panafcortelone. ## Hello, Ace! How are you doing? I have just started a course of Panafcortelone 50mg for 5 days, tapering by half every five days for 20 days. I have been sick with acute bronchitis with existing asthma. After one course of antibiotics and still a lot of shortness of breath, I have resumed a second course of antibiotics and starting to feel better. My question is can I stop the steriods when I fetel better. .as I am concerned about the length that im supposed to be on them..suppressed immunity etc and am I likely to get side effects at that dose and time length? ## Hello, Karen!
