What's the best dose to fix chest infection I have a bottle of 25mg but forgot or lost the dosage? Do you taper by half to full? ## Hello, Henry! How are you? If you have an infection, you're going to need an antibiotic, this will not treat that. This is a type of steroid, so it can help with some of the inflammation that makes it difficult to breath. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, insomnia and nervousness. Is there anything else I can help with?

Will panafcortelone help my acne and fingernails that grow miss shapen? ## Hello, Pen! How are you? And no, this is a steroid class medication, so it could actually make those problems worse. Usually, misshapen fingernails are due to some type of vitamin deficiency, which you should get checked for, so you know which one your are deficient in. What do you normally eat? Do you take any vitamins, supplements or other medications? ## Thankyou so much, that's fantastic, thankyou for your reply, :)

After one course of antibiotics and still a lot of shortness of breath, I have resumed a second course of antibiotics and starting to feel better. My question is can I stop the steriods when I fetel better. .as I am concerned about the length that im supposed to be on them..suppressed immunity etc and am I likely to get side effects at that dose and time length? ## Hello, Karen! How are you? No, you need to continue them and do the proper taper schedule, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. There can be risks associated with stopping it too suddenly, after having taken it for awhile. The immune suppression and other...
