My best friend is 4 months pregnant and she already took 24 tablets of primulot nor 10mg. That was 2pcs. twice daily for 6 days. Can it cause birth defects? We are worried if the fetus is still ok because not only that, she took PANADOL (medicine for headache) twice because she suffered headache on the 5th and 6th day of taking primulot nor. Please answer. ## Hello, NIcey! How are you? Primolut Nor contains a hormone that is actually essential to a healthy pregnancy, so no, that will not harm the baby. Pandadol is also considered safe to use during pregnancy, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. She should, or course, let her doctor know that she took them, but there is likely no risk to the baby, as reported by the U.S. FDA. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi, ...

After many years of back and knee pain with no success on codeine and panadol for pain relief. I changed my dr and he has put me on tramadol 50 to 100 3 times daily, relief was amazing I feel a different person after one week. I do see many people trying to get off the drug on here. But if it was working for you with pain relief why not just stay on it. I am 77 years old so don’t think addiction would be a worry. What do others think .? ## The NIH does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming, but not everyone is prone to developing an addiction to any given substance. The NIH also warns that this medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. (NDC code 0378-4152 for more information.) Hi. My doctor says that 60mgs of Codeine with 1000mg of Panadol is equivalent to 10mg of Morphine. Being that I'm on Oxycontin 80 mgs twice a day, he has said I need to only take 2 tablets of Codeine a day to be comfortable... though my pain has magnified. Previously I was on 6 tablets a day of Codeine. Any thoughts on that?

Hi, my name is Ellen. I've just taken one ibilex 500 for a urine infection. Should i take two? And can i take panadol for pain at the same time? ## Hello, Ellen! How are you? This is not usually the preferred antibiotic for a urinary tract infection and no, one will not usually clear it up. Is this what your doctor instructed you to take? Was the bacteria cultured? The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. ## And Panadol will not likely help much, if you do have a UTI. ## I have kidney failure stage 3. My doctor has perscribed me Amoxycillin for a tooth infection which is caused by my wissdom tooth. How long until it will start to kick in? I have been taking panadol for 3 days now although i only started my dose of antibiotics yesterday and am keen to see an improvement as i am in quite a bit of pain. ## Amox is an antibiotic which treats the infection and not the pain. All though it may feel better once the infection clears it may not stop the pain. You should see your Dentist who can prescribe pain killers and give you guidance on how to treat the problem to permanently stop the pain.

My husband is taking the following medications: Olmetec 40mg + Zanidip 10mg + Plavix 75mg + Lasix 40mg + Cartia aspirin 100mg; 1 each morning. He is also taking: 2 Panadol Osteo 5mg x 3 times daily + 1 Pregabalin 25mg + 1 Vytorin 10/40mg at night. All prescribed by his GP. He had a triple bypass in 2014; stents 1 in Feb, 2 in Nov 2016; Radical prostectomy for cancer in 2006; Radiation for secondary cancers in 2009; Neurosurgery for a subdural hemorrhage in 2013. He has had breathing problems and used inhalers off and on for 4 years (is now off these). He does have asbestos fibers in his lungs, but thankfully no major problems there. But he is having problems with tiredness throughout the day and is constantly sleeping. Is this due to the mixture of drugs he is on now?

I am concerned because aspirin is constantly touted for chest pain, especially to be taken before getting to the ER. I am horribly allergic to aspirin, disprin, toradol , Advil and other painkillers except PAnadol. So, what should be taken instead in the event of chest discomfort? ## I take 180mg verapamil daily. I have osteoarthritis in my spine, knees and hips and have recently developed severe pain in both arms, extending to the fingers on my right hand, worse on getting out of bed in the morning. I was taking Panadol Osteo two three times a day which didn't really help much so my doctor prescribed Mobic. It helps a lot but not completely so am wondering if I should keep taking Panadol Osteo as well as Mobic? Also, is it necessary to have a few days break from Mobic every so often? I take Sotalol for AF, Perindopril for blood pressure, Apixaban as a blood thinner and Carbimazole for hyperthyroidism. I have asked my doctor and pharmacist these questions but am still confused as to what I should safely do even though I have read all the information available. ## Hello, Janice! How are you? ...
