what are the side effects of taking the PAN 40 tablets?? ## what is the side effect of pan 40 or pan top 40? ## would like to know PAN 40 side effects ## I was take pan-40 for a long time, pl tell me any side effect to continue this medicin. ## As per doctor's advise I am taking Pan 40 daily at morning time. He advise me to take the medicine for 2 years. Is it harmful? ## I am detected by Doctor as fatty liver. Also I am suffering from acidity problem long back. So Doctor advised me to take one tablet Pan 40 daily at morning and one tablet Ursocol daily at night for atleast 2 years. After taking these two tablets my acidity problem had improved. My concern is, as I am taking these tablets daily, is it harmful in future course of time??

my son, aged 27 yrs has been diagnosed with gqwtric ulcerws. he has been pr3escribed ampoxillin 1000mg , claribid500 mg , protodac and pan40 (twice daily) for 14 days. after 10 days,he has been shoqing signs of improvement. should the medicines be continued for another week? will he require antibiotics also? after 14 days, he is still having pain , with less intensity. ## The Claribid contains Clarithromycin, so it and the Amoxicillin are antibiotics. Pan40 was not prescribed but is included. My mother who is a heart patient and had had an open heart surgery was prescribed pan 40! But by mistake she took pantop 40.so could you please let me know whether there is any difference between these? ## Same case happened with me ....doctor prescribed pan40.....medical person given pantop40..... I asked then he replied both have not much difference.. sir/madam, my mom is 42years old.she has been admitted in hospital for abdominal pain,continuous chill fever and sudden weight loss of about 12kg within 1month.on taking x-ray and ultrasound scan they found 800ml of plueral fluid has been formed.then they removed it and before 2weeks my mom get discharged from hospital and doctor advised her to take akt4 tablets in night and omnacortil,pan40 tablets.doctor told it seems like tb.and he also told that in plueral fluid test,RA factor is 40.what it means?now my mom is having knee pain while walking in steps after taking this tablets.is the treatment is right and when she"ll become cured?pls reply..
