my son, aged 27 yrs has been diagnosed with gqwtric ulcerws. he has been pr3escribed ampoxillin 1000mg , claribid500 mg , protodac and pan40 (twice daily) for 14 days. after 10 days,he has been shoqing signs of improvement. should the medicines be continued for another week? will he require antibiotics also? after 14 days, he is still having pain , with less intensity. ## The Claribid contains Clarithromycin, so it and the Amoxicillin are antibiotics. I have been taking pantop 40 for more than 6 years now just when I wake up. I am scared of using the drug for so long and want to stop it but feel sick if I don't take it. Can you please let me know if it is harming me in any way and what other alternative is there. I am obese and suffer from slip disc and severe cramps in my legs when I sleep. Kindly guide. My Mom is 70 years old and she is Diabetic and Hypertensive. She is on Diapride-2, Arbitel H and Atorvastatin av 75 mg along with PAN 40 mg. Even after taking PAN 40 before breakfast every day she doesn't feel relieved of gastritis. Is there any other alternative for PAN 40 in this case?
