Im looking for a good clinic in south florida... I am from deerfield (broward) I have mri and ive had surgery. I have aetna insurance but I cant find any clinics anymore.. I really need help my pain is redic and I got prescribed 30mg oxy a few days ago but I couldn't fill the script anywhere.... so they gave me 20mg kadians which aren't good enough. So I recently moved here to South Florida (Cutler Bay to be exact) from Nevada and I have been taking 60 10 mg Vicodin a month for 7 years with no need for increase for pain from endometriosis. I brought my records and prescription bottles with me when I moved thinking I would have no problems transferring to a new long term Dr. who could fill my scripts. NO SUCH LUCK. Every Dr. I have gone to tries to fill me bogus Tramadol and tells me that there is no reason I should be taking Vicodin. They are making me feel like a drug seeker and absolutely refuse to give me my script. OptumRX, mail-order pharmacy, is the only answer so far, BUT it would be REALLY nice if I could find a local pharmacy to fill Rx and not have to wait a week to get my pain meds. I too went to a local CVS for ten years and got my Rx filled immediately or had to wait one or two days MAX. Now it's just absurd!!! Also,I saw a group of pain docs and had to change. I was seen, over the course of the year by, at least six docs in that SAME group. When I went to another office they ran an "Eforce" report and said I was "doctor shopping!!!" HOLY S___!!!! as of nov 2013 are there still SOME mom & pop pharmacies stocking roxicodone?See Walgreens CVS etc. are having problems,which is damn ironic.Ive had pharmacists at these stores look at me & my rx w/suspician,all the while they were violating codes & laws like crazy!! Hello: I live about an hour from the Georgia border with Florida and due to the shut down of all the pill mills and the legitimate doctors scared by the DEA to write any scripts, I need to find a pain clinic or doctor who will write scripts for verifiable spinal injuries and pain. 2017 I have chronic back and sholder pain and I cant fill my prescriptions anywhere in South Florida because all the pharmacies are full to limited alloted. Please someone tell me something I'm 44 yrs old I m fine driving a distance I just need my pain to be at bay. Thank you ## I need to find a good pain management clinic who takes Medicaid. Found one kind of close by, called and was told, yes, they take Medicaid, but that they will NOT write narcotic scripts for Medicaid patients! Isn't this a form of discrimination?!

Hello, yes I've had problems filling just like everyone else. Then I found a WALGREENS that treated me AWESOME for 3yrs then my pain doc closed then reopened 3 months later I went back with my script and they would not fill. In those 3 months I took subutex from a doctor and filled at a PUBLIX so everything was all legit. Then I heard from a friend that he was mailing them 1,000 miles away to a mail order pharmacy and having great results. So I tried and for the past 4 months no problems I'm so grateful and lucky that all has worked out. And to answer your question there is no law that says you cant do this. I live in Jasper, Alabama and have been on methadone for 15 years. It's the only thing that's helped during my chemo or when my ruptured disc are bothering me. The doctor I had just up and left and left all his patients hunting a new doctor. Does anyone know a doctor in or around Jasper or Birmingham that I can see that writes Methadone? ## Really, your best bet is to see a new doctor and make sure they get your medical records, so they can speak for themselves. Asking a doctor to prescribe a specific medication is often seen as being drug seeking behavior. So my Pain doctor got shut down been going for 15yrs saw about 5 different docs in that span of time. Now I'm trying to find a new one and it's near impossible!! So I was not gonna be stupid and go into withdraws. So I went to a sub doc immediately. Got in right away and Ben on subutex for almost a month while I try and find a new pain doc and it's crazy with all the new laws and South Florida running dry of docs. I find myself not being accepted anywhere. I don't know what to do. why have doctors in memphis tn stopped prescribing pain meds? ## Based on what's been going on lately in the pharmaceutical world, my guess is that most of the rudimentary doctors have become reluctant to "over-prescribe" narcotics, because they fear that they will loose their licenses upon doing so. They wont even let me go to clinic because i was on it for pain for many years ## I live in south bend Indiana and was going to a methadone clinic for 8 yrs, I then found a dr. who wrote me 10-10mg pills a day which is 100mg a day.
