Need to know what is in it? Is it causing my weight gain? I take it daily and have no pain. but have gain substantle weight. ## The information I am finding on Artridol lists it as being a supplement that contains Glucosamine, which is believed to help with various conditions that cause joint pain. That said, however, as a supplement, it has not been studied for side effects, as is done for actual prescription medications. Thus, it is difficult to say what may be causing your weight gain. Have you consulted your doctor?

NAPROXIN OR IBUPROFEN, WHICH IS BETTER ## Hi IETTY, Depending on the dose, both of these medications could effectively handle the pain associated with a toothache. Some people however prefer Naproxen over Ibuprofen because of certain side effects and that it may be easier on their stomach. Others find a few hundred mgs of Ibuprofen to be more than sufficient for a toothache. There are just many different reasons for choosing one over the other... One patient review I found stated that 400mgs of Ibuprofen every 4 to 6 hours was sufficient enough to take care of their toothache; although I haven't come across any specific details on Naproxen's equivalent dose for this same treatment. I think it will simply come down to which medication you react best to. Have you tried either one ...

I FOUND SEVERAL PILLS THAT HAVE IMPRINT G307. I ASKED AROUND AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A NORCO 10 PAIN RELIEVER. CAN U PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS IS? TY ## You found or you bought a bunch of pills? Oh well anyways its hydroxyzine 10mg a antihistamine. Looks like you got ripped off. ## @original poster, You didn't mention what shape or color your pill was either? For the record, Hydroxyzine hydrochloride 10 mg tablets are listed as having a marking of 307 PA, (NOT G307); and they're manufactured by Pliva. So post #1 is wrong about its identification, unless you can prove otherwise? Depending on where or how you came about these pills, my guess is that they're probably not too common since I'm not seeing any specific details online. However, ill look forward to any updates you mig...

What type of pain reliever can I take for the headaches I recieve while taking lisinop/hctz? ## I need to know what type of pain reliever/fever reducer I can take with lisinop/hctz. thank you. ## Have you consulted your doctor? The answer can depend on the specific pain reliever, of which there are many on the market and the severity of the condition you are being treated for. For instance, if someone has had congestive heart failure, or their blood pressure is still somewhat out of control, then they have to avoid using any type of NSAIDs and may be restricted to just Acetaminophen/Tylenol.

I have been going to methadone clinic for over a year and I've taken pain reliever the whole time every night and never failed for benzos. The last two times I've taken it I've shown positive for benzodiazepenes. Why is it just now doing that? ## Hi Brittany, hope you're doing well. Can you post exactly what the brand or store name of the over the counter PMS pain reliever you are taking? There are a number of different ones so if you can list the brand name it should be possible to look up the active ingredients and see if any of those could cause a failed result during a lab test.

## What are the available milligrams of dihydrocodeine? ## They come in 30mg, 60mg and 120mg. I don't know if they get any stronger than that. ## 30mg I find works better for myself as I am sure the stronger they get they become time-released, coated, and don't have the same all around efficacy. ## This is a narcotic and will carry the same risk of addition and side effects as other narcotics. Side effects may include:nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions? ## I'm taking 30mg of dihydrocodeine as prescribed, but when I take the 30mg I get stomach aches. I have been told that there's more chalk in the 30mg than the 60mg of dihydrocodeine tablets. Is this true? ## For your stomach cramps 'rabeprazole' would sort it out superbl...

Hello my question is, is there a combination of two otc pain relievers that when taken together gives approximately the same relief from pain as that of a 500mg vicodan? My mom has terrible osteoarthritis, with awful pain and swelling. She is 78 years of age and would be pretty active if for not the pain. Thank you so much for your time. BJC ## I'm sorry, but no there isn't. Vicodin contains Hydrocodone (an opiate narcotic), coupled with Acetaminophen, so there is nothing equivalent available over the counter. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is her doctor not treating her pain? Has she taken Vicodin for it in the past?

I'm wondering what is best med for s1 protruding disc and a pinched nerve until I can get into pain management for the steroid IV's ## HI, Amy! Sorry that you're in pain. However, there's really no way to say what the best pain medication would be, because what works for someone else may not work for you. What has your doctor advised? Much of it is also going to depend on your overall health and your tolerance to any given class of medication. Have you ever taken opiates, before?

I started taking Lyrica for chronic nerve pain that causes a pick axe stabbing in my ear and pain in my jaw. Initially, I did gain weight (12 pounds to be exact) but have been losing it with diet and exercise. I am just 6 pounds from my orignal weight. What distresses me is that over the past few days, my stomah looks as if I swallowed a bowling ball. I had three hernia repairs and on the third, the surgeon put in a mesh. It has its own problems, but my stomach has even worse bloating than it did before the hernia surgery. I have never experienced my stomach as bad as it is right now. I am never constipated, because I eat a lot of fibre. From past experiences with constipation, I had a fair bit of bloating, but this is ridiculous. I have a long history of eating disorders and this may push

I've been prescribed Meloxicam 7.5 mg. I was told to take one at night but this wasn't very effective, after seeing my doctor he said to double the dose. Is it more effective to take one twice daily or 2 once a day? At the moment I take it twice daily but it still isn't very effective is there another safe drug to take along side or a different drug to combat the pain I gave osteoarthritis in my hands and seems like my forearms as well. ## Hello, Gary! How are you feeling? Sorry about the osteoarthritis. Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it can be taken with other pain medications that are in different classes, or replaced with another NSAID that is more potent, but what is safe for you to try is up to your doctor.
