I AM in pain I had 15 surgies last September from smashing my ankle and cracking my spine. I have RSD and constant swelling. I'm going to a pain doc next week and not sure how its "done". Thanks for any help. ## Hi Betty, Sorry to hear about your condition. From what I understand, many pain doctors will largely base their medical considerations off your medical records, insurance coverage, and a number of other individual factors. I don't think there's a specific thing you can say to alter there decisions unless you really know the doctor as an individual and/or are able to understand their point of view as well. I would just recommend being yourself and not necessarily telling them what they should be prescribing you, since that is their job as a doctor. However, it...

does anyone know where i can pain tablets df118 30mg or remedeine forte dihydrocodeine ## I'm not fully understanding your question due to a couple grammatical errors in your description (i.e. - "know where I can pain tablets"). However I would still like to offer more information if that helps: DF 118 forte tablets contain the active ingredient dihydrocodeine, which is indicated for use in the management of moderate to moderately severe pain as well as coughing and shortness of breath. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Dihydrocodeine Details Please post back if you're able to rephrase your sentence. It seemed like a simple typo, but even missing a couple words can throw off the entire meaning behind your question.

Can anyone help me with the names of drs who are pain mngmnt. I've had a back surgery, titanium cage with 4 screws and below there I have a herniated disk pressing on my spinal cord. I get so angry at these people I hear asking for narcotics just to use recreationally. We are the ones suffering due to them. I'm so mad. ## Hello, Carrie! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, having them refer you to someone might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? The FDA lists narcotics as possibly being habit forming and causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. ## I really appreciate your kind words a...

Hi, I had a yeast and bacterial infection and was told by my doctor to take flagyl comp for 10 days. I don't know if it will affect my period because it has never been missed before. My period came two days after it was delayed, but with much pain and it didn't flow well either. I don't know if I might be pregnant? ## Antibiotics can cause you to experience a longer cycle, in other words a delay to the start of your period, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications? Did you try a pregnancy test? ## My menstrual cycle is on the 2nd of May but I am having pains without any flow. Can Flagyl help my period flow regularly?

I began taking Gabapentin for terrible nerve pain, tingling, and numbness in both legs, from the thigh to the knee, particularly when I'm lying down. I also feel one arm go completely numb when I keep it raised for any period of time. Example: holding up my Kindle to read, or my phone to play Words With Friends. My internist prescribed it for me after I told him the pain was unbearable, and keeping me up at night. The side effects began once I had titrated up to my full dose of 300 mg., 3 times a day, for a total of 900 mg. The side effects were terrible. The dizziness and double vision got worse and worse with each passing day. Some days I was terribly nauseous, and most of the time, towards evening, I developed a raging headache. There were days I knew it was unsafe to drive. I ha...

Okay I just started this today at 3:30pm 06-06-2014. The first dose gave me really bad stomach pains that went away after awhile. Then 8 hours later I take it again as instructed at 11:30pm. It went down fine, no stomach pains, so I drank a glass of water after I laid down and fell asleep then I found myself wide awake at 12:50 throwing up. I know this is a side effect but could it be this early in taking it? It's my very first time taking this medicine and I'm taking it for a sore throat or in other words tonsilitis. Should I take the 3rd dose at 7:30a.m? I don't want to put my body through that again if it's not going to work... ## Hello, Alexandra! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've been having. Yes, that can be a normal side effect of this antib...

He jerks when h e sleeps and I cry nearly every night because I need something, an article, someone to call him, something, a miracle to get him off this horrible drug. I have pics of him where his shoulders have changed and he looks so much older. Hi... my husband has been addicted to pain pills off and on for the past 5 years, with things getting really out of hand the past year. Almost 2 weeks ago he went to detox and rehab. He AMA'ed out of rehab 3 days ago because he said he couldn't take it. He is willing try something to help him control his cravings. I've done some reading on Naltrexone and was wondering how well it works and if anyone knows of a doctor in the Houston area that prescribes it? Right now he needs all the help that he can get. Thank you! =) ## Hi, I was hooked on pills and opiates for 5 years. Heavy user. Tried to quit many times. Plus two state run detox. Failed them all. I know everyone gets really sick. I found the same one lying around and compared it to meds in their correct bottles. This one is a "Premier Pain Reliever Acetaminophen, USP 500mg" ## Hi Victoria, Thanks for sharing this important information on the pill ID. I was just curious to find out if you knew who the manufacturer was? Details on this tablet seem to be rather sparse. Is it a product of the US? I did do some digging around and located a 500mg Acetaminophen liquid solution with the words "Premier Value" standing before it - though it was reportedly labeled by Chain Drug Consortium LLC and made by Aurohealth - So I don't know if there's any connection between the tablet and solution in that regard...

MY doc and I have recently decided to try to come off of the generic version of Lexapro, Escitalopram. I was taking 10mg of the stuff for about 10 months. So he took it down to 5mg only five days ago. I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is withdrawal symptoms/pains or if I should go to a doctor for this?! Directly under my chin, where one would say a double chin is, I have a dull achy pain. It's almost like something is putting pressure around my jawbone/chin. Has anyone experienced or heard of such a thing? Am I losing it? I'm experiencing dizziness also, which I know is a major side effect possibility of coming off certain or maybe all SSRI's. Thanks in advance if you can offer any words or advice. ## Hi, I have not experienced withdrawal, but I have experienced the c...

My mom is 66. She's been on 20 MG of methadone for 3 yrs for degenerative disc disease, she's also been in a bad car wreck AND hit by a truck while walking across the street (10 yrs ago) so she's got many sources of pain. Her doctor isn't comfortable raising her dosage because of the rigid methadone rules (his words). We are now seeking a new doctor who can help her. We are in Dorchester MA. ## I lost my Doctor she disappeared and I need someone to help me with my methadone treatment. Where can I go? I found this pill today: It's white, oblong as has the words PER on one side and BR on the other side. I'm on pain medication and I really need to know what it is. Thank you ## Hi Rita, From what I could gather, someone in another discussion thread here was able to identify it as Percogesic, which is said to be used as a mild to moderate pain reliever. [1] It appears that there are multiple formulations for Percogesic: The original contains Magnesium Salicylate Tetrahydrate 580mg (NDC 63029-051, equivalent to 467 mg of Magnesium Salicylate Anhydrous), whereas a reformulated version contains Acetaminophen + Diphenhydramine (NDC 63029-049). Either way, both are indicated for pain relief, but you may want to verify this with a local pharmacist just to be sure. Product details: Dail...

I stopped taking a 300 mg twice a day dose of gabapentin last tues. I feel awful depressed sweaty moody irritated emotional very dizzy. How long will I keep feelin this way? My doc had me stop it right away, because I was suppose to go on lyrica. Which honestly I don't want to start taking pain or no pain. I started slurring my words on the gabapentin then felt like wherever I was, I was inside a bubble it was a terrible feeling ## If you have been on it for such a short period of time, they shouldn't last more than a few days, perhaps a week at most. but it can vary from person to person, so I can only give an average from other anecdotal reports. Lyrica is in the same class, so it may or may not cause the same type of problem for you, there's really no way to know without ...

I do agree with a person that posted that about how the pain med population (my words) definitely has a pain chart forum. I’m a tad bit envious, I must say. However, I'm so glad they put it out there! Because from what I read it does help lots of folks. So yes! We need the Adderall/generic (also called Amphetamine Salt Combo-Amphetamine Tab) - there are others but yes let’s do it. We could call it the “Need2Focus4um”... lol. found a pill that is quite large, oblong, blue and light blue with the words Liferpal MD on both top and bottom portion of capsule. ## This is Carisoprodol, brand name Soma, it is a muscle relaxer. It's very habit forming and apparently you aren't supposed to take it consistently for more than 2-3 weeks. ## how many mg of soma are in the blue capsules? (from mexico) ## Liferpal is a company and makes many Blue pills. Without a pill # it would impossible to be identified. Nothing i have read indicates this is Soma ## Having gone through a listing of Liferpal's products, I have to agree with Eddy, while they do make several medications, there are no muscle relaxants listed among their product line, neither Soma/Carisoprodol, nor any others.
