CAme here from florida got pain killers for my leg need to find a doctor here who isnt paranoid of a dea shutdown ## Hi, Matt! How are you? Unfortunately, they all have to be paranoid about that. New regulations were put into effect this year and any doctor that doesn't abide by them risks losing his license to practice medicine. Your best bet would be to establish a relationship in your new location, with a PCP, then have them refer you to a pain management specialist. Do you have a PCP, yet? ## Matt, did you ever find one? I am in Beaumont, and I too need to find a doc not afraid of narcotics. Moved here from Austin, and have a hard time finding a good doctor of nearly any kind.

I have Lupus, joint pain, chronic back pain I've just moved to the area and have been being treated prior by a pain management specialist who has me on 15 MG Oxycontin time release and 7.5 MG Percot for break through pain. I need to continue my meds for pain , however with all I've been reading about this area and Texas, (of which I love ), it seems no doctors are prescribing? I need help to find a great pain doctor like I had in my previous state. Can anyone help? No I'm not a drug seeker, just a Lupus patient in pain....I do not misuse any medication or do any illegal types of drugs. Thank You in andvance. ## There were a lot of pill mills in Houston that were shut down, yes. And while I don't know a specific doctor to recommend you, I've become familiar with the c...

Pain clinics with same day appointments in Houston Texas? ## Hello, Jartan555! How are you? Such clinics/doctors no longer exist. There was far too much over prescribing and improper prescribing. Now, in order to be treated for pain on a long-term ongoing basis, one must see a pain management specialist. If you are in pain and require short-term relief, until you can do so, a nearby ER would be your best bet. Is there anything else I can help with? ## you ever find one in Houston? I know this post is a bit dated but it couldn't hurt to ask ## Yes someone please help because I have been given no other choice but to look for these so called pill mills because ive been flagged. I have lupus spina bifida. I've had a neck surgery recently and I've also moved out of houston and to...

need dialudid in houston, texas ## Hello, Angus! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, then due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, now. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that may be able to refer you to someone? That would likely be the fastest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

Hi everyone. I currently suffer from severe chronic pain. I have multiple conditions one of them being chronic renal colic. Another being degeneration of discs in my lower back. I will be moving to Texas next month and need to find a pain management clinic that is compassionate, doesn't treat people like drug seekers when they truly need the help and a doctor who is not super conservative. I need a doctor willing to prescribe any narcotic and prescribes what works for me. Cash only "wellness" clinics are ok for the time being. Informing me of a pain doctor in Fort Worth Dallas Austin Houston or San Antonio is fine. Thanks in advance. ## Were you able to find any specialists to help you with your medication needs? If so, can you please share who? I have a long list of chronic...
