Pain Management Ms

I have had chronic back pain for years. I was in a motorcycle accident in February. I have degenerated discs and severe arthritis. I am trying to find the best pain management place to go to. I have MRIs, insurance, and can get a referral. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know about laws and which states aren't as strict. I can go to Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana.

I'm a long time chronic pain patient and I need to find a pain management dr. in or around Moss Point, Ms. The problem I'm having is that I just got discharged from my previous pain management clinic because I failed a pill count. And I'm terrified that I won't be able to find anyone else that will help me. If anyone know's of a good pain management dr., please...please let me know. I need to find someone asap!! Thank you....

I have spinal stenosis, arthritis and 2 herniated discs for which I have had surgery. My current pain med doc won't go any higher then 50mgs of tramadol 3 times a day and that is it. Nothing else prescribed. He says nothing else will help and just go have surgery. I am not looking to take 10 mg of MS or anything. I just need something to help when the pain gets too bad several times a week. The tramadol does not work anymore. Does anyone know of a place in Hampton Roads VA that will help? ## I do not know of a place there. I'm in desperate need of finding a Pain Management Dr. in Ms. I was just discharged from my previous pain management dr. due to a failed pill count. Yes... I know, but there is no way possible that I can go without a dr. I'm a long time chronic pain patient, I've had 3 major lumbar fusion's, I've got osteoarthritis, severe nerve damage, edema in both hips, spinal stenosis, drop foot in my right foot and a few more issues going on. I just moved to myrtle beach, SC and I need a pain management Dr. that will give me what I was getting. My husband misplaced his prescriptions that were written out by his Dr. back home and now the Dr.says its not his problem. Anyway, we both need our meds filled soon and we can't get into see anyone. I'm thinking about taking taking a ride to Georgia. Please help. BTW we both were taking ms contin and oxycodone.

I live in Orlando and am looking for a new Dr. To prescribe me the proper pain medication I need for my chronic pain I have taken 30 mg oxycodone for years and also oxymorphone I prefer the oxycodone which has helped me in my day to day life tremendously? I was taking oxycodone for break through pain and MS Contin for long acting relief. Recently my NP at the pain clinic told me that oxy is no longer being given to patients because of the Obama Care crackdown on narcotic abuse. This medication is important for those of us that have chronic pain. I have been in 2 car accidents and have spinal stenosis, 3 bulging disks and nerve damage in my left leg. Working is difficult but necessary right now. My pain management doctor has gone MIA (Dr. William Knight, Metairie, Louisiana). He has gone- there's no trouble reported to Louisiana Medical Board. Just gone. The 3 months worth of prescriptions he wrote me for Norco & MS Contin are almost gone too. I can't find a new pain dr. here (on the Mississippi Coast or New Orleans) who will take my Obamacare OR even take cash-pay patients. Hey I am sorry to post this and bother people with this cause it tends to be all that I see on these boards. I have been through back surgey awaiting a second, I have been in pain management for 7 years. my insurance changed this year and due to that I was dropped from my pain doctor. My family doctor of 32 years took over filling my medication I have been reffered and reffered over and over to pain doctors. Pain management for over 13 years. Saw an RN, not a pain doctor for some reason, I don't know why. Reduced my oxycodone 10/325 six/day to oxycodone 7.5/325 three/day, and ms contin ER 30mg three/day to two/day, then took me off 350mg SOMA three/day. Said that soma was not going to be in the market anymore!!?? Put me on Robaxin 750mg four/day and they make me very sick. Can't keep anything down. Called the clinic and RN is on vacation!! I have had migraine headaches for 25 years and I get them three to five time a week. My doctor had me on MS Contin and he died, now I cannot find a doctor anywhere that will prescribe me any pain meds. Hi! I have severe diabetic neuropathy, several amputations on both feet, and an ulcer on my one remaining big toe. I have been thinking of moving in with friends in Rhode Island. I am disabled, so I have Medicaid. Looking for a pain management doctor that takes Medicaid or one that is reasonably priced. But mainly I need one who uses pain meds. Iam a 65yo male with osteogenisis imperfecta,scoliosis,osteoarthritis,IBS,hypertension etc. I had both knees replaced 22 years ago. Recently an increase in pain in L hip prompted my PC Doc to do the mscontin thing. I was already on the 60mg's codeine 3 times a day. I just move here from phoenix where I was on Percocet 10mg, MS Contin(morphine sulfate 100mg), or synthetic opaite will work too bupanorphine, Tiban i think is on. and Soma. Based on the circumstances it probably wouldn't be best to ask for a referral... however, there's certainly other physicians out there who would still be willing to help you. I just can't imagine every single doctor turning you down for such a petty accusation; especially since they have no real proof in the matter to back up their claims.
