I previousl pain management pain management doctor in New Jersey before moving to Georgia I was prescribed 90 30 milligram roxycodone. When I move to Georgia rock to go down. When I move to georgia I became pregnant and decided it was in the best interest of my child to go on subutex. Kylee was born healthy due to my decision not to remain on painkillers while pregnant due to my decision not to remain on painkillers while i was pregnant. Now that she's getting a little bigger my chronic back pain has returned in full force. I am trying to see pain management doctors but nobody will help me now that I have been prescribed subutex in the passed during my pregnancy. I don't understand why I have to suffer so much and I've lost out on so much in life. It doesn't seem fair. I live in southeast ky. I need a doctor close by. I wish I could find one close to Berea ky. ## The dea is totally stupid making seniors suffer because some young kids buy fentanyl illegally from other countries while so called pain clinics have become a billion dollar industry torturing seniors.

I went to pain management dr Lexington ky for yrs. He died n the new one was terrible! Im going to a different clinic n Lexington. But it takes 3 hrs to see dr n I don't get half of what I use to. Can someone recommend a doctor in ky, tenn or wv? I have records and go to a new pain clinic but they only give tabs. Not helping. Im from mi recently moved to corbin ky. I have chronic pain due to nerve damage. My leg and foot goes numb for sometimes weeks at a time. My back often goes out on me and i cant move and my broken tailbone makes it hard for me to sit comfortably. Ive had mri and xrays ive been on 3 norco 10s for eight years so my tolerance to pain meds are high. I havent had my meds in over a month and i spend a lot of my time in bed in chronic pain and very depressed because i cant do things i want with my three children. I have been seen by the lexington va for 2 years now with constant back pain. I've had shots and therapy for the pain. The only thin my PCM is giving me is tramadol which I have been on for 2 years and is just not doing anything to help. ## Due to the new regulations that have been put in place, if you're looking outside of the VA, you'll need to see a pain management specialist to possibly have anything stronger prescribed. Have you tried asking your doctor to refer you to someone that can help more? Most VA's have their own pain management clinics. Hi, all, I just moved to Covington, KY from. Brooklyn, NY. I am taking Nucynta ER 150 mg/3 x a day, lyrica, celexa, Xanax 2 mg/3 x a day and a muscle relaxant. The main issues are the Nucynta and Xanax. I have had doctor after doctor laugh in my face when asking for this prescription. I started Xanax five years ago and Nucynta about a year ago. No one wants to prescribe Nucynta, either. I have tried Vicodin, oxy--everything. But finally found that Nucynta (a drug I paid $1500 for WITH insurance in NY) works for me. Just want to find a doctor in KY that will write something preferably the oxycodone 30 for pain and 15's for breakthru, plus I've been taking xanax for around 5 years to try and help with the pain and anxiety which they do to a certain point. I have been unable to go to the doctor for over a year. I do not drive and rely on my daughter to take me. She had been living out if state. I was on high pain medication (oxycodone/roxicodone, morphine and Xanax) before. At this point, any pain medication would help. If you need a narcotic medication on a long-term ongoing basis then due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, getting them to refer you to someone might be the easiest thing to do.

Does anyone know if you can be prescribed Roxicodone and Oxycodone at the same time? ## U cant in Ky. But u can get Oxycodone & hydrocodone both. :) ## It would depend on the dosages and formulations. For instance, some could be prescribed an instant release Oxycodone for breakthrough pain and then a regular release or time released formulation for better and longer pain management. You can learn more Oxycodone details here. But it is the same medication, so you could not legally be prescribed the same dosages of the same formulation, at the same time. And as LadyM mentioned, you can be prescribed different narcotics, without issues, as long as the prescribing doctor feels that you have legitimate reasons for their writing for them.
