Was with a pain center in South Carolina for three years, but they through me out because I was taking a cough medicine given to me by my regular doctor. They said it was in my urine and they did not prescribe it. They put me on Methadone 10 mg four times a day, Oxycodone 7.5 mg three times a day, and a lot of other drugs for the last three years. I was in a car accident ten years ago, and was pretty messed up from it. What can I do about the pain center? My reg doc told them she prescribed it to me for three months, and they said they did not care. ## If you had a treatment agreement contract with them that stated you couldn't take narcotics from other doctors, without their approval, or that you couldn't take them at all, then you breached that contract. Moved to Rochester in September from Long Island where I had no problem getting my pain medication for 10 years I have contacted 6 pain management facilities Rochester Pain management who seemed promising advised me today they are not accepting new patients for pain medication and referred me to the pain center at Strong Memorial hospital calling them tomorrow it's ridiculous in Rochester I'm 59 the state has all doctors running scared may have to fly to Long Island every month crazy up here

Please forgive the length of this post. I recently had an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center in Lynnwood. I have been a pain management patient for over 4 years now. Multiple spinal issues, fibromyalgia, EBV, and TBI to name a few problems I have. I moved to the Cleveland from another state I am very concerned with what the protocol at this location. Does anyone know anything about the comprehensive health and urgent care and surgery center in Lenoir city TN do they write allot of 30s for someone with ddd and 3 3 bulging discs and bone spires and narrowing of the spine ## Nobody writes a lot in Tennessee anymore. The new law has made it impossible to get relief anymore. The government thinks they know more than Doctors about pain.

Can anyone help me find a doctor to help with pain management until scheduled surgery? I have history of endometriosis and they are telling me that my bowels are covered in scar tissue. Im unable to care for my son the way I should because the pain is debilitating. I'm seeing a doctor at the community health center but he's pretty much worthless. My husbands job wants $1200+ a month for insurance and we just can't affors that right now. The dr at the health center tells me to go to ER and ER tells me to see my dr. Nobody will help with the pain. I'm in the St Pete area.

Looking for a dr. In Los Angeles that will perscribe methadone. I moved here a year and a half ago from salt lake city. I've suffered a sever head injury and had to have brain surgery. As a result I have cronic headaches. I also have 4 collapsed disks in my back from riding motorcross for years. I became addicted to pain pills and ended up going to a opiate treatment center is SLC ut and they put me on methadone to manage my pain and get me off pain pills. I was on 300 mg a day at one point. Hi, my name is Kim. I just got released from the hospital into a rehabilitation center after having seizures. I fell down two flights of stairs and I need surgery on my right knee and cracked three ribs. I just got home and they only gave me enough pain medication for a couple of days. I am disabled and have never taken any illicit drugs. i've been prescribed methadone from a Doctor in Dallas for many years. I also have mobility issues as well, as I have had spinal cord surgery to alleviate chronic pain. My Dr is retiring after 40 years and Its mandatory that I find a new doctor. I have medical records and would be blessed to find someone who could help me. Going to a methadone clinic is not an option because they are treatment centers and will.not accept patients unless you lie and say you misuse your medication. Hi I just moved from Washington State to Portland,Oregon. I am on SSDI for back injury,3 bulging disks and massive arthritus in neck,and 3 in thoratic back,and for Degenerative disk disease.I was going to a pain management center-referred to them by my regular doc,& they had me taking Norco-Vicodin 30 mgs a day. When I came to Portland,OR the doc that I'm seeing now said she's going to "wean me off" of pain meds,that I need to be able to function doing just everyday living things like showering,walking the dog,ect. I asked her then what? After I'm completely off them,she said well U could try PT but U said that hasn't worked in the past-which it didn't the PT I went to actually sent me home saying it was making condition worse/more pain. Last Tuesday my (along with a lot of others Im sure) pain management center was raided by the FBI (also other clinics) and the staff were always very strict (Current MRI's, Blood Work, UA's every time) and have always followed the rules. Also (local paper said) my primary care DR.'s office has been closed because he apparently was involved (local paper said he has got a target letter from the government) and Now I'm left with no primary DR. Or Pain Management Dr. it's also my understanding (local paper) that the FBI has all my records. I have multiple injuries (I almost died from a few years ago) from a auto accident. doctor wrote a script and it says phys mes/ pain manaement for the doctor i am going to see ## Hi ladybird, From what I could gather, the abbreviation "phys med" stands for "Physical Medicine"; usually in reference to rehabilitation centers and/or pain management doctors. I'm not quite sure what type of tasks are involved with Physical Medicine; other than assuming it may have to do with occupational therapy and other things of that nature. Help please! Just moved to Florida, Orange City from California. My PCP gave me my meds there. Here they sent me to a pain Management Center where they do not prescribe pain meds. I take percocet 10 / 325.I suffer from lumbar stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and neuropathy and the beginning stages of multiple sclerosis.does anyone know a doctor that is willing to prescribe pain meds for me?
