My mother in law just moved down here from SC. She's in need of a GOOD pain management doctor as she has had 2 back surgeries and has had a broken skull 3 times. She's on SSI and Medicaid. ## Hello, Bella! How is she doing? Since she is on Medicaid, the easiest way to get her the help she needs will most likely be by getting her in with a new PCP, then having them refer her to a PM specialist. Hello everyone! I had an MRI done in December of 2010 on my lower back and was treated with oxycontin 30mg and muscle relaxants from a clinic in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I did that for one month and the pain in my back was gone but I was afraid to get addicted so I stopped and have since been in progressively worse pain. Now for my question, I recently moved to the St. Petersburg (Tampa Bay) area in Florida and am looking to find a doctor who will honor my MRI (3 years old) and also not give me a hard time for prescribing the right pills that ease my pain. I unfortunately lost all the documentation from the Pain Management clinic in Fort Lauderdale about my condition and the place has since been closed. I have chronic pain on my knee from a torn meniscus. Does anyone know of a good pain management clinic in SF bay area that makes you sign a opiate contract and receive this medicine? I know of a good clinic in Los Angeles but now I'm in SF and won't go down there for this prescription. Anyone know? Under the new laws, general practitioners will no longer be able to prescribe these types of medications long-term for people that suffer from chronic pain. I am looking for a replacement for my doctor that will prescribe pain medication. I was in a near fatal mva fractured my spine, among other things and have been in constant pain in my lower back and pelvis. I am trying to find a doctor or pain clinic in Western Massachusetts (Springfield / Westfield Area) for my wife, the doctor she was seeing took her off the fentanyl patches and oxycodone when she got pregnant with our 3rd daughter. I was in an auto wreck and nothing else has worked, not the chiro, inj's., diclofenac, nothing. Methadone for pain kind of worked, but not like oxy.
