What in the world is going on with the DEA ? They do not have enough work with border issue's and other related problems in and out of America ? Why pick on the NFL ? Why don't they go and work hard in finding the big time drug dealers ? Lots of questions but never any answers. Often wonder if the DEA is a good thing or is an EVIL thing. Just don't know anymore. Just an American voter who tries to help our country become a better 1. But this is a rather strange approach in dealing with Drug Dealers. Any comments out there today ?

In the 70s there was an OTC analgesic you could buy for pain. It was not Aspirin or Tylenol. It began with the letter "E". (It wa not a compound; Excedrin.). I have been wracking my brains to no avail. Thanks in advance. ## Somebody saw this question on our Facebook page and is suggesting: "Empirin # 4". Does that ring a bell? ## Yes it does, and was my first thought. I guess I thought the medication was an aspirin alternative, so when I looked up Emperin and saw that It IS asprin I wondered if there was another answer. Thanks for the reply! ## Empirin ## There's a narcotic beginning with an E called Endocet (Percocet) for pain.

I suffer from chronic chest pains, and it feels like someone is crushing my heart, i get sharp pains, and it debilatates me. in the ER the have given me this green goddess and it worked wonders, hard to swallow after, but it killed the pain, well my ignorant Dr. refuses to subscribe it to me, she tends to think that the nexium will work one day. So i figure ill make my own green goddess, but all i know is that it contains lidocain,, maylox, or mylanta and something else. so if anyone could help me with my problem i would greatly appreciate it, i have dealt with this pain for 12 years, and im tired of it,. Thank you ## The name of this mixture varies from region to region, from what I can discover it contains Lidocaine, Mylanta and Donnatal. The Lidocaine is a mild, topical anesthetic. T...

I have pulled something in my lower back right above my coccyx and across the length. I have Melfen 400mg however I was wondering if I can take other painkillers with this as I can only take one of these three times a day. Thank you. ## Hello, Lois! How are you? It really depends what other medications you're asking about, as well as your medical condition. Are there any specific ones that you want to ask about? Have you consulted your doctor? ## Hi Verwon. How are you. I was only really wondering about whether I could take Solpadiene (Paracetemol and Codeine) or just Paracetamol. I havent consulted my doctor yet as i am hoping it will be gone in a week or two and don't really want to have to pay 100s of euros just to see my doctor and get medication! Many thanks Lois ## Hi I ha...

i am taking naproxen 500mg 1 tablet twice a day for neck injury but i suffer from bad headaches so i wondered what other pain killer i can take along with prescribed med ## Have you spoken to your doctor about it? The headaches could be a result of the neck injury or a side effect of the Naproxen itself, so you may need to try a different medication. I am really reluctant to suggest anything, because Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and you can't safely mix it with most other over the counter headache remedies, since they also contain NSAIDs. Some people do have some success if they alternate it with Acetaminophen, but it also has some NSAID properties, so really isn't a good mix. In this case, you really do need to get to the root of what is causing the headaches, t...

I took a 1/4th of 8/2mg suboxone this morning, then in the afternoon, then at 5. I get my hydrocodone 10mg tomorrow. will they do me any good. It was my first time taking suboxone and i have a really fast metabolism. I am wondering will I be able to feel my pain killers tomorrow? ## @stageman, Because everyone is different this is only intended to be an estimate...but according to other related threads on here, I've drawn the opinion that you may want to wait a good 48 hours before taking other narcotics such as hydrocodone. However there are a variety of factors/questions that come into play which could also determine how long you should wait, including but not limited to: How long you've been on suboxone? What dose you've been taking regularly? Was this a one time thing? D...

I'm addicted to taking pills regular, sometimes even 3 or 4 times a day. Usually it isn't that much but this time I over did it and took about 3300mg of pain killers and seroqual . I didn't really have that many side effects the next day I threw up but other than that I'm fine. I was wondering if It will get worse or will it just go away anytime soon. ## Have you consulted your doctor? It's difficult to provide more details, without knowing specifically what you took and how much, just sting pain killers leaves it open to a pretty broad category of drugs. You may have already caused permanent damage to your body and taking such high amounts, especially of various drugs at once, is putting your life at risk. What type of pain killers did you take? ## i took 6 tablets ...

"FDA urged to block generic non-tamper-proof pills": oxywatchdog.com/tag/purdue-pharma/ Go there.. Generics of old formula as early as January 2013 ## I have to wonder if the FDA even realizes that their medications are killing people off left and right at the patients own expense. Doing away with tamper-proof properties can be a good thing, but this isn't going to help anyone cure anything. What ever happened to the natural remedies that have been around for over 3000 years? I guess they still can't figure out how to tax people & make money off of mother nature, so here we go again with a new batch of pain killers to help numb the feelings and switch to another addiction. Does anyone else think this is wrong?

I am having severe back pain travelling to abdomen. Tried several pain killers like Diclofenac and HIfenac-D, Nicoxia MR but when i take Nimessulide (Nice) it helps in drastically reducing the pain. Wonder why Nimesulide helps and other pain killers are not that effective ? Can i take Nimesulide for long term ? ## Have you had any testing done to see what's causing the pain? The Nimesulide is a different type of anti-inflammatory pain reliever, since it's a Cox-2 inhibitor. Learn more Nimesulide details here. opana 10 vs percocet 10 for chronic pain in legs from neuropathy + severe muscle atrophy! I have a bullet in my back which can not be removed. some one told me about opana as he suffers with the same injury! Was wondering if the opana works better on this type of nerve pain better than the percocet? ## Hi Delain - sorry to hear about your chronic pain. Technically speaking the Opana (active ingredient Oxymorphone) is a significantly stronger pain killer than Percocet if you are taking the same dosage. However, depending on how your body metabolizes it and exactly how you are taking the medication could influence the result. If you have already started the Opana may I ask how you are finding it compared to the Percocet? Hopefully you are finding the relief you need! ## I havent switched ...

oval white pill with line in middle for breaking. I found them in my wifes purse ## Vicodin is a very powerful narcotic pain killer. Also very addictive! ## To be exact, this is a Acetaminophen 500mgs and Hydrocodone 5mgs, and as the other posters said, a narcotic pain reliever. ## Mr. Verwon, Sir, I have a question that maybe you could answer. I have blockage in my lower left leg from the knee down. I had surgery to insert a couple of Stents. This is a very painful deal. I was wondering that since it is blockage, would the Medication help any if it is not allowed to circulate to the effcted area, and if not, why would a MD allow you the possible chance of getting addicted to a pain medication such as Vicodine or Percocet, in which I have been taking both with no relief of pain. ## How ...

Is MOVA 500 a prescription drug? I have arthritis of the spine and wonder if this is better then taking prescription pain killers? ## This contains 500mgs of Naproxen and no, it is not a dosage that is available over the counter. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, that is used to treat pain, swelling and fever. When it comes to taking any type of pain killer, there aren't really any that are better/safer than any other. They all carry risks, even the over the counter products. Side effects for this one can include: nausea, headache, drowsiness and stomach irritation. Read more: Are there any comments or questions?

I have been taking Zaldiar (paracetamol, tramadol) twice a day for about a week as a pain killer for a partial tear of my shoulder's rotator cuff condition; everytime I took the pill I would feel a little dizzy, but it wasn't really that bad and it did help to lessen the pain; however since yesterday I started feeling pretty strange and I blamed it on the pill, so I stopped taking it, and the pain came back, it turned out that what I really have now is an UTI, therefore while waiting for the culture due on wednesday, I gave been given Spasmo Urolong; since the pain for my shoulder condition is back I was wondering if I could take both meds; wouldn't there be side effects by taking both?

i am taking tramadol right now and it is not working enough... can i take oxycodone for the same pain? ## Hi Amber, Based on the personal reviews of others, I'd imagine oxycodone to be considerably stronger than tramadol. There have been a number of patients on here complaining that tramadol doesn't do anything for them and even go so far as wondering why it's even classified as a pain killer. I don't know if that's an overstatement since everyone reacts differently to it, but if you have a prescription for oxycodone, it should be a much more potent alternative. Regarding the differences between the two medications you can learn more about them in the links below: Tramadol Details Oxycodone Details I hope this helps! ## Hello Amber I take tremadal n gabapentin 300mg ...

Hi thanks for taking the time to read this and any advice would be helpful asap. I am going to a new doctor tomorrow. I have heard he is willing to prescribe pain killers and has to some patients, but definitely not a place where he does to every patient. I used to be on 30mg oxycodone and 50mg Tramadol as well as Soma for my back, knees, feet and other bad pain. I went off health insurance a year ago and have not been able to get my meds. My quality of life has went downhill bad. I have put on weight and my blood pressure went up. Also exercising minimally has become difficult as has performing my work and being intimate at home with spouse. I need to get back on these meds asap.
