I have had 4 back surgeries, 1 neck surgery, 1 rt knee surgery, and 1 rt shoulder surgery. I've been on many pain meds but now what works for me is 10/325 norco. I dont want anything stronger. I'm sure im addicted but cant function; without them i need that little relief to maintain my sanity. I have been labeled a druggie. What is really going on here when we put animals in pain to sleep and let humans suffer? Just saying. ## Who labeled you a druggie and why? What type of doctor have you been seeing? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Does anyone no of a good Dr. And pain clinic near thomasville ga. 31792 Or valdosta .ga. or Albany .ga. or Ta...

Hi. I have been going through a war now for years trying to manage my pain from my ruptured and bulging disk in my lower back. For years I just dealt with the pain. But about three years ago I was forced into a point that I had to work so I started going to a pain clinic in TN and after a year I moved to Florida for my husband to get treatment for cancer. When I moved I had enough of my meds for the month but I couldn't find a doctor to see me in time and ran out. I started with withdrawls and every doctor I saw down there didn't believe I was in pain. So I had no choice but to go to methadone for the withdrawls. Now two years later I'm trying to get off it and get back to a pain clinic. I've been going through withdrawal for 3 weeks and recently started getting migraine...

Hello: I live about an hour from the Georgia border with Florida and due to the shut down of all the pill mills and the legitimate doctors scared by the DEA to write any scripts, I need to find a pain clinic or doctor who will write scripts for verifiable spinal injuries and pain. I have been going to the same doctor for 8 years who just retired and am heading for one big painful time not to mention a bad detox that will probably kill me.?? Anyway, any help would be appreciated and I would try and repay the person who helps me. Thanks y'all. ## I'm in the same boat. Maybe u can share any info. I need suboxine in decatur ga area. I need a pain doctor or pain clinic who doesn't require a referral, takes Medicare and Medicaid, who will prescribe my Xanax 2mg, Dilaudid 8mg, Roxy 30, Soma 350mg. I have my paperwork from the hospital state to take these meds. I need someone in Atlanta Ga, or Roswell Ga, Lwrncvil Ga. ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. As to your medications, it is doubtful that you will find one doctor that will prescribe them all. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you need to see a specialist, so for that list, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist, as well as a psychiatrist for the Xanax. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dr...

Need a pain dr. in south Georgia ASAP. Needing a doctor that can prescribe sufficient amounts of pain medication so that I can function. I have a lot of back problems compounded by fibromyalgia and so on. ## It looks like law enforcement has been cracking down on the pill mills over there, so they may not be as generous as they might have been in the past: ajc.com/news/massive-pill-mill-raid-1227391.html n regards to finding a local pain doctor, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consid...

Can anyone help me find a dr.-- I will go anywhere in Ga. or South Carolina that will help me. Pain clinics offer message, hydrotherapy and other things. I need the meds or a patch. ## I'm not sure what part of GA you are in but there are several great pain management doctors in Savannah. I don't want to post any of their names on a public forum because it unfortunately leads to their office being flooded. How are you? I'm sorry, but most pharmacies aren't going to want to fill it, if it's been prescribed by a doctor in another state. One reason is due to the fact that it makes it very difficult for them to validate the prescription. And the second reason is due to mandatory stock limits for controlled substances. I can't think, focus or sleep and take care of my 8yr old. Please help me find a dr in Macon, Georgia. ## Hello, Angela! How are you? Unfortunately, a private practice doctor cannot legally prescribe it for you, so a clinic remains your only option. I understand this information doesn't help your situation and I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you. I was recently released by pain clinic and need to find another doctor soon. Are there any doctors in Northeast Ga that will see me and prescribe pain meds for chronic pain or do I have to go to pain clinic?? Any suggestions for a doctor that will prescribe meds that actually work without constant drama? ## Hello, Tonya! How are you? Due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year, most private practice doctors will no longer prescribe pain medications, except in special circumstances, such as for someone that is suffering intractable pain from a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer. Thus, you'll have to stick with a pain management specialist. Why did they release you? That might have an effect on being able to get another to accept you as a patient. Do...

Need a doctor that takes Georgia Medicaid in N.W. Georgia who's not afraid to prescribe oxycodone for a disabled older man with 3 herniated disks in my back. ## Hello, Johnny! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. If you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were enacted last year. Those regulations also mean that all doctors may be very cautious about what they prescribe and why they prescribe it, or they risk losing their license to practice medicine, as well as possible fines and jail time.
