moved here from delaware looking for pain clinic birmingham area who will perscribe oxycodone 30mg . i was given 4 a day. i was in a bad motorcycle accident in 2012. the dr im going to gives oxycotin 40mg 2x per day ive tried it there way 9 month im tired of being in pain to top it off just found out i have stage 3 cancer. please help thank you ## Preferred Pain, Trussville Al.

My dr in Mont., AL has been prescribing me 3 80mg oxycontin for several years. My visit last week he refilled my script and said it could be the last because he was told there was diversion possibly coming from his practice. Btw that was 3 a day. If he doesn't refill my script on my next visit, I need to find a Dr. quick. Is it legal not to wean a patient off? The pain clinics in this town are full. ## If he cannot continue to prescribe, he should be able to refer to another doctor or clinic that will accept his current patients. Has he suggested anyone? Need an pain clinic too treat my pain i have had 2 knee surgerys and taken 2-3 Norco 10 is not treating my pain i also have back pain ## Try TVPC/Spine and Neuro Center in Huntsville. Dr Morris Scherlis is my anesthesiologist and he is great. My only issue with them really is that for office visits I have to see one of his two staff members and the guy(Greg) is kind of an ass. Sorta condescending and suspicious of patients it seems. Also, I have a few other issues besides my back/sciatic pain and I was on several different meds for it including Ativan for anxiety/stress and ambien for sleeping problems due to my pain...I've weaned myself off both of them in the past year and done the same with my muscle relaxers. I have a left leg gone and rods in my back and the doctor that dismissed me after the suit was over couldn't see me anymore because the car insurance wouldn't pay any more and he had me on all this medicine and now I need a doctor who will give me back my medicines ## Hello, Edward! Additionally, if you call around and ask if they'll prescribe such a medication, most doctors will view that as drug seeking behavior and not even let you get in the door. Is anyone living in Alabama getting pill cuts of methadone? My doctor told me it was because of Governor Bentley signing in new opiate restriction for all pain doctors. (Not Clinics). Need to find a VA doctor at one of the clinics in Huntsville,al. Who prescribe pain meds for RA. I have a valid pain issue and my doctor took me off hydrocodone 10/325. Those helped me get out of bed without groaning and acheing for 20 min before i can get up. Now i am in pain and my doctor just wants to give me ultram. This med in no way helps. My pain doctor just informed me that he can longer offer refills on my norco because of it being classed as a schedule 2 drug norcotic now. That means i must go every month now and pay for an office visit. I know that is true in New York but i am not aware of any changes in Alabama law. As I do not have insurance now that would be a huge added expense to me. It would be a big added expensive even if I did with a $60 copay. I have been taking Soma for many years, along with lorcet and over the counter ibuprophen for about 7 or 8 years. I believe it all started when I landed on top of my head and fractured my spine in the very upper part of my back, because thats when all hell broke loose.
