i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. I have been seen by the lexington va for 2 years now with constant back pain. I've had shots and therapy for the pain. The only thin my PCM is giving me is tramadol which I have been on for 2 years and is just not doing anything to help. ## Due to the new regulations that have been put in place, if you're looking outside of the VA, you'll need to see a pain management specialist to possibly have anything stronger prescribed. Have you tried asking your doctor to refer you to someone that can help more? Most VA's have their own pain management clinics. I don't understand why I have to suffer so much and I've lost out on so much in life. It doesn't seem fair. I live in southeast ky. I need a doctor close by. I wish I could find one close to Berea ky. ## The dea is totally stupid making seniors suffer because some young kids buy fentanyl illegally from other countries while so called pain clinics have become a billion dollar industry torturing seniors.

My family dr died the day before my appt. I have been going to him for 10 years and he had managed my pain with oxycontin and percocet. It seems a lot has changed in 10 years trying to find a dr and it seems that pain clinics that want to run you through mill with expensive unecesary tests are the only options. If anyone knows of a dr who is realistic and understand chronic pain in the Southern indiana or Louisville ky area any reccomendations would be appreciated.
