If not, due to the ongoing problems people are having with various clinics in Florida and getting prescriptions filled from them, the best suggestion I can make is to contact the social work department of your nearest hospital. This is my first time on this site and i am hoping there is someone who can help me. I am 24 years old and I've been diagnosed with primary amyloidosis. It is a terminal illness and I am serious in need of help. I need a doctor that will prescribe pain medication as I am in an inordinate amount of pain daily. I was given a time line and don't want to spend what's left of my life in this amount of pain. GOT KICKED OUT OF MY PAIN CLINIC FOR A +THC TEST. BUT THAT IS WRONG CAUSE I DONT SMOKE POT. DOC SAID IT WAS IN ME SO I HAD TO, BUT IT WAS JUST A STICK TEST NOT A LAB SO IT COULD HAVE BEEN WRONG. WHY does the pain clinic have to make you feel like YOU have to PROVE you are doing nothing wrong?!?! I have gotten jumped by the nurses 3x now and ALL 3 times they had another person's chart!!!! They seem to accuse everyone with NO proof! You can't argue with them because then they might drop you! God help me find a physician who actually gives a crap!!! My angel of a Dr retired 7 years ago and I have been in hell ever since. With him I was able to say my pain was at a 2 at times! Now I fill out their "pain chart" and really really mean I stay at an 8 to 9 but they don't even read what they make you fill out! In addition, you may get better responses if you give, at least, your general location, since Alabama is pretty big. i am having trouble finding a pain management doctor that will perscribe medication. After multiple surgeries my 4,5,6,7 cervical vertebray have been fused because of a work accident. Also broke my right hip 2 years ago, plated and screws. I am looking for a doctor that recognizes no amount of physical therapy will solve my pain problems and perscribe pain medication. I would think that this paperwork alone would be sufficient enough to persuade doctors to give you what you were on before or at least something similar so your body's not in shock from the difference in milligrams. Wondering if anyone knows of a quick in and out pain clinic in downtown Atlanta ## There are none to be found anywhere in the U.S. anymore. Such places were pill mills, for the most part, and have been shut dow by the government. Why isn't your current doctor helping you?

I have areally bad back, herniated discs, crooked, sciatica, spondylosis a and 6mong other problems and excruciating pain. I was at a pain Dr. that lost his lisence and have tried so many places mostly by calling, and asking if they give pain meds. The last place I called said I would have to sign a contract so the DR could take me down 60% off what I am on!!!! Hi, everyone. I am a pain sufferer for over 7 years now. Due to misplaced drill while getting my wisdom teeth out. I have been to many pain clinics tried just about everything. I have not tried Soma's. I know a different drug name in Canada but Ambien in USA. I can't take those. 15 years of every benzo and Z drugs no way. Sleep walking,talking, eating. I need to find a new pain clinic in Knoxville TN. The doctor at my clinic now is of the philosophy of 60 mg total of meds a day. He does not believe in tolerance. I have been on meds for 4 years now and can attest to the idea of tolerance. Does anyone know a clinic that does not use this philosophy? Does procedures? Takes tenncare? I am desperate! Was in a car accident with back and neck injuries. Have been given hydrocodone that doesn't touch the pain. I live in Arkansas and heard oklahoma pain clinics understand and are more compassionate. Have been seeing the same pain management Doctor for the last 20 years, but I am now moving to Pennsylvania. I have been spending time between the move trying to find a Doctor in Pennsylvania that will keep me on the same regimen I have been on for this long. It is futile! And yes, they are allowed to do so, it's considered a contractual agreement for treatment and most clinics do this. I am detoxing off of methadone and ive talked with my counselor and since i have pain issues that im going to have to address because of me detoxing off of the methadone,she(counselor) told me to check out some pain clinics were they can monitor my med use,but i would really like to be sble to find a pain clinic that would maybe give me 10-20mg of methadone in pill form just for the pain instead of going back on any kind of pain medication.
