i lost my insurane when my kids turned 18 and was seeing an orthopedic surgen to replace my knee im in so much pain that i cant sleep and can barely walk ## I am in a lot of pain in9 places in my body I can't take it anymore I need help with pain management until I can have surgery can you please help me I need a doctor to really listen to me and look at me as a patient on a piece of paper

Looking for pain clinic in Nashville area to go to. Clinic I go to now shut down last month and I got records to back me up, I take oxycodone 30mg 4x and oxymorphone 15mg er 3x...I need to find a clinic by first of month. I found one place but they do something called PPPFD monitoring, which I have no problem with pill counts. And I am cash pay no insurance, fighting disability, just had leg amputated, and will have other limb amputated once disability goes through...please help ## I hope you have found a place. I have been unable to go to the doctor for over a year. I do not drive and rely on my daughter to take me. She had been living out if state. I was on high pain medication (oxycodone/roxicodone, morphine and Xanax) before. At this point, any pain medication would help. But I don't know what doctors to go to now and so many will not write pain medication. Can someone please help with suggestions on who to go to? I would even travel to Knoxville if needed. Tenncare has completely stopped paying for the strips so now theyre paying for bunavail. These are nasty. Guess theres gonna be lots of complaints. ## Yes, I feel your pain. I may sound crazy, but I do not think it fair that TN care can make a deal with one company. I am on a low dose so they let me have the option to stay on strips and pay cash. That's what I'm doing for now. I wish I could just quit but I have tried and it seems to hard to me for now.
