Hi, I know I'm not allergic to paracetomol but rashes started to appear when I took pacofen, which i believe contains other ingredients. It's also iches. Is that possible I'm allergic to the combinations that are present in pacofen? ## Yes, the active ingredients in Pacofen are Caffeine, Codeine and Paracetamol, so you might be allergic to one of the others, though the Codeine is the most likely culprit. Pacofen (Milicod) (Codeine) ## Is milicod safe for breastfeeding mummy/baby? ## This drug is a pain reliever which contains Acetaminophen (Paracetamol), Caffeine, and Codeine. In the United States, similar brand names are Panlor and Trezix (the difference being they contain Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate as the opioid ingredient). Because of the Codeine inside this medication, "care should be used during breastfeeding as it may result in opiate toxicity in the baby". [1].

I can't sleep last night after taking pacofen together with clarithromycin tablet (antibiotic) for my prolonged fever. I am suspecting that the caffeine in pacofen is keeping me awake. Is this right?
