i took 2 80 mg oxycontin a day for 7 years i have a mass that cannot b removed i got tired of meds not helping pain so i detoxed at home and know take suboxone it controls my pain and got me out of withdraws it saved my life ## It is a blue capsule. WAS TOLD it was 100mg Oxyctoin. But, does not look right to me. Im a former addict, and I am 1 yr sober and 4 months now. a round brownish orange looking pill with G164 on one side and blank on the other ## Yes, you are correct, this is a generic for Oxycontin, it is Oxycodone Extended Release 80mgs, the strongest you can get now, since the FDA has made them discontinue the 160mgs due to abuse and overdoses.

I take 160mill of oxycotin 2 times a day and roxi 30 mill every 3 hours for breakthrough pain. What is the difference in the meds? Also I have the generic oxycontin, 80 mill is it different than the brand name? I ask because they dont seem to effect me like the oxys I recived in the hosbital. The generic pill is lite green and oval is this the same ? ## Does the so called generic oxycontin say oc on one side and 80 on the other? The name brand are lite green with those letters and numbers. The generic form should work just the same. Perhaps you are just working up a tolerance to them. Roxi's are oxycodone just like the oxycontin is; however, the oxcycontin are time-released over an 8 or 12 hour period, (depending on what you are on.) The roxicet is the same as percocet.
