That said, there are also no more generics for Oxycontin available on the U.S. market. There is only one manufacturer now and that is for the name brand Oxycontin from Purdue Pharma. Due to the fact that this medication has such a high rate of theft and diversion, this was done to enable the appropriate authorities to keep better track of the supply and where it's going. I was on oxycodone 30mgs for 7yrs along with oxycontin 40mgs until they changed the oxycontin to the op's and my doc replaced it with opana. my doc retired and I'm now having trouble finding a good doc. the one I'm seeing now lowered all my meds even dropping me down from 30mg oxycodone to 5mg for my breakthrough pain and dropped my opana down to 20mg. he also keeps doing procedures on me that I've had done by 2 other doctors that didn't work then and they're not working now. can someone please tell me of a good doctor that wont keep putting me in more pain and help me with the severe pain I'm in? I'm willing to travel anywhere in ohio for a good doc. thanks
