I have been on Oxycontin for 3 years. I am not stupid, I did not ask the doc to keep increasing my meds, I would decide to stop taking them for a two week on and two week off if I could. I am in chronic pain,my life has been altered to the degree I cannot walk without assistance any distance. I do walk into a store that has carts to push. Two back surgeries, the type of back that just keeps getting worse, had I not had the surgery I think I could have controlled the pain with Vicodan and Advil. But the doc. said I had to have the surgery. then the 2nd one did me in.It is a reputable doc who has done many surgeries, my opinion he wanted the money because this is when they discovered surgery was making things worse more than better. WHERE CAN I GET ABG 20 MG OXYCOTIN IN COLUMBUS OHIO ## We have no way of knowing what any given pharmacy has in stock, at any given time. That said, there are also no more generics for Oxycontin available on the U.S. market. There is only one manufacturer now and that is for the name brand Oxycontin from Purdue Pharma. Due to the fact that this medication has such a high rate of theft and diversion, this was done to enable the appropriate authorities to keep better track of the supply and where it's going. My mother in law has cancer and will die from it, the cancer has been eating at her bones, the doctor has prescribed her the Oxycontin 20mg but her insurance does not cover it and the pharmacy wants $300 for 2.5 days or I guess pills, that's crazy. Until she gets approved for Medicaid we need to find some cheaper place to fill a prescription for it. A 20mg Oxycontin tablet from the U.S. would be manufactured by Purdue Pharma and it would have either an OC or an OP on one side, with a 20 on the other. Both of them are pink and round.

I am only taking my morning dose b/c i don't feel pain at night...I'm sleeping and very seldom wake up. OMG I felt like I was being posioned. I have taken OC for 3 years now, it has made my life managable. I suffer from severe chronic pain. I started taking the new OP 20mg on Friday 3X daily. Has anyone else noticed that OxyContin 20mg wears off before 12 hours? I'm waiting for the extended relief pain meds to take effect and it doesn’t last for 12 hours. ## They’ve never lasted 12 hours since they were brought to market. That was how they flooded the streets. Doctors knew they didn’t last 12 hours so they would prescribe an extra here and there. Now I think they give people oxycodone for break through pain. ## They destroyed Oxycontin in 2009 with the rock hard polymer that was added to create the worthless OP version that works maybe 5 to 8 hours if you're lucky. 20mg Oxycontin OP doesn't seem to work as well for me. I take it 3 times a day with 15mg oxycodone breakthru. Can anyone suggest a replacement for the 20mg's. Would a 15mg oxycodone and a 5 mg oxycodone work as well. Thanks so much for your help. ## It would be the same dosage, but since those ones are not time released, it would not last as long to relieve your pain, so such a dosage would have to be taken more frequently. Generally the regular formulations have to be taken 3 to 4 times a day, as opposed to the every 12 hours that you take Oxycontin.
