Oxycodone Pill 50 Mg

My Dr. was prescribing me MS Contin 30mg. q 8hrs & Dilaudid 4mg q 4-6hrs. + Celebrex 200mg 1 daily. Now he suddenly took me off the MS Contin, I have been in extreme pain! I asked him to prescribe Opana 40 mg or Oxycodone 30 mg., he said NO that Opana and Oxycodone are the same drug. How true is this? Red/white capsule with [M] 532 ## This capsule contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone, This is a narcotic pain reliever, a generic for Tylox, Percocet and others. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I was taking 5mg oxycodone in tablet form and it worked o.k. Hi world, im curious i found a pill that says 30 on it... its a white oval pill with 30 on the front and nothing on the back... i heard it was a oxycodone 30 mg... im not sure can somebody help? I saw a white oval/oblong shaped 500mg acetaminophen tablet that fit this description and it has me wondering because the imprints look like they could easily be smudged off or washed out depending the pill's condition... Also, is the number 30 embedded/indented into your tablet or is it ink based? On the pill I'm referring to the imprint is embedded/indented on one side and blank on the back. I hope this helps! I was wondering how many 2.5 mg 325 oxycodone can I take at one time? I normally use 30-50mg a time each day to maintain my pain. ## Hi Connie, Based on my research, the usual adult dosage for Percocet 2.5/325 is one or two tablets every 6 hours- the maximum daily dose is 12 tablets. I broke my foot and I'm in severe pain. What I have is called a lisfranc fracture. I was on Tylenol threes and they didn't help and then I got hydrocodone 5 - 3 - 5 and they didn't help the last thing I tried was Oxycodone 5 325 and they still didn't really take the pain away. So I asked my doctor for something that would help the pain and he prescribed me Tramadol 50 mg. I am apprehensive to get it filled and try it because I'm not reading anything positive about it. Please help! What is the next thing I should ask for if Oxycodone 5 325 isn't helping with my pain? I can tell you that Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, the dosage you mentioned is 5mgs and 500mgs, respectively, However, Oxycodone is also available without Acetaminophen. What is the difference between tramadol hcl 50 mg and oxycodone 30 mg tablets ## Tramadol is a centrally acting analgesic of the opioid class, but it is not classified as a narcotic. It really doesn't work as well as the actual narcotics do, for some people. Oxycodone is an actual narcotic and is much stronger and more effective for a lot of people. Since they do share similar characteristics, the side effects that they both can cause are very similar and can include: nausea, dizziness, constipation and drowsiness. My doctor changed my meds from Morphine 80 mgs tid to 50 mgs oxycodone tid along with liquid 5 mgs as required. Why would she do this? I had lymphoma. ## I am sorry, but only your doctor can answer that question. However, I can tell you that Oxycodone is stronger than Morphine, so they may have thought it would help you more than the Morphine. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I've been taking (4) 80 mg of oxycotin for over 10 years. My insurance changed rules and put me at 50% payment which is $900. I can't afford that. So the Docter wrote a 10 day supply of name brand oxycodone and the payment would have been $300.
