try to find out if these pills are extended release ## Hello, Jack! How are you? The only time released Oxycodone available is Oxycontin and they have the marking of OP on one side and the number corresponding to the dosage on the other. The tablets with the NP 14 marking contain 20mgs in the regular release formulation, so it's a generic for Roxicodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## i have oxycodone N P 14 20 mg (small round grey pill). I want to know if i can break them in half because i think 20 mg will be to much for me all at once. I can't be knocked out cold a...

These pills suck! They are nothing like the old ones ## Hi LadyM, Sorry to hear about your experience with those Oxycodone pills. From what I understand, because each pill is manufactured by a different company, not only is there going to be a slight variation of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), but also if the medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient as well. For some people, these subtle differences are the equivalent of taking a completely different medication that may be absorbed and metabolized differently within your body (usually resulting in an increased or decreased potency). I hope this helps clear things up for anyone else trying to understand what might be going on with their medic...

Hello everyone & top o' the mornin to ya! the medicine you are speaking of and have described, is in fact, a 20mg oxycodone. Oxycodone HCL to be exact..which is pretty much a 20mg instant release percocet with no tylenol added..tiny round grayish pill with 14 and N P & scored imprints... side effects vary..im a little more dizzy than id like to be! not used to feeling this way from these kinds of meds. also the fillers are different & it does not dissolve in liquids or applesauce..but its for those same reasons that companies are changing medicines - so "certain people" cant abuse them. its to be taken by mouth only & the drug companies are trying to keep drug addicted people or needle addicted people from abusing medicines while all at the same time trying t...

I only go to the one pharmacy to get All my medications filled. ## Mary, Have you contacted your medical provider about this situation? Oxycodone, sold under the brand names Roxicodone and OxyContin (which is the extended release form) among others, is a semi-synthetic opioid medication used for treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is highly addictive[12] and a common drug of abuse.[13][14] It is usually taken by mouth, and is available in immediate-release and controlled-release formulations.[13] Onset of pain relief typically begins within fifteen minutes ...

Green round pill that says w80 on one side and oxy cr on the other side - Anyone seen these? here guys i found something as I am also going thru what u are all going thru. projects.propublica.org/checkup/drugs/2954/states/nevada I need a dr who will prescribe, fentanyl patches 100mg, 14 a month, soma 240mg 4 a day, and oxycodone 30mg 4 a day, xanax. this has always done well for me too, i hate that other ppl have abused them. I feel that ppl who dont have problems with them should continue to get them with no problems. ## Unfortunately, doctor's hands are tied on these matters, due to the new regulations that were set forth by DEA last year. They are restricted on how much they can prescribe of any given controlled substance and why they can prescribe it. I understand your frustration, but you're not going to be able to go into a new doctor and ask for specific medicati...

Most of these people are just whinners. I've been taking oxys for 15 years or more. Recently the pharmacy i used switched to this brand. There isnt a difference - if blindfolded u coudnt tell the difference. Only beef would be not being able to cut it in half. Again these work as well as thee others. People just like to complain. I have pain from my neck to my toes. If they were not working i would surely complain about it. So quit crying, it's in your head! ## Hello, BruceG! How are you? While I am glad that this medication is working so well for you, what you have stated is not correct. Since there can be fluctuations from one generic to another, which is permitted under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, not all medications from every manufacturer work for everyone that tries them...

Day 3 and the devil is still just sitting on my shoulder....I can't beleive how well I am actually feeling...Am I kidding myself, or could the worst still come? Over the last 7 years, I have been on morphine, percs, dilauded, etc, etc. Three days ago my oxy mg was 140 a day...What's up? Please help? ## In my opinion, It depends on how you are feeling now. the worst could be over. However, the devil will always be there from now on. You have to remember that only you and GOD can shake him off. Along with a good support system you can get rid of any addiction, just always remind yourself that you are strongger than any drug that man can make. GOD BLESS YOU, and remind the devil that you have GOD on your side from now on. ## It is also highly possible, that since you were taking th...

I get 90 pills which cost me $74.00 last month November. This month it cost $147.00, Does anyone know what is going on? ## I usually get 120 10/325 for $67 using a free prescription savings card. Today I picked up my prescription and it was $102! Pharmacist told me that was due to a recent shortage. My 120 15mg jumped from $37 to $62. There are plenty of free pharmacy cards you can print or download. Here in az they have issued one. You don't have to qualify but you can only use if you don't have insurance. Saved me almost $360 between both pain pills. ## Hi Red, From what I've heard, Neeter is right about the recent shortage linking to the price jump. However, like he said there are also numerous prescription drug savings cards out there that you can use to help take the ed...

A doctor had me on 30 mgs of oxycodone two every three hrs.I have been on this med for more than 14 years and the reason he kept me on this like he did was thast i couldnt afford the long acting.First was it wrong for him to do and if so exactly why and second what are we going to do about the war on doctors and what can a person do to get the help they need.Im not a drug and i am on per disability for real health problems but its a forest trying to get help nopw days, any suggetions. ## It isn't wrong for a doctor to try to help with your pain to the best of his ability and in a manner that you agree with. Everyone's tolerance to medications can vary, so what's used, the dosage and frequency have to be individualized. As to the other issue, your best bet to get the help you ...

These pills if held in between lip and gum can help you very much , IF you are trying to slow down on how many you've been taking? They release enough med fast to do the job, but yet they dissolve and hold just enuff med to trickle out almost all night!!! If you are expecting the good ole feeling and relief that the As or Mbox roxicodone give , well you will be upset! It all depends on what you need? The NP/14s R better than nothing!!!!!!!good luck! ## I had no issues with these pills. I'm itchy all over and my pain is gone and if you insufflate these pills they work great and the drip is the same. I think people that write negative reviews on the is have an opinion based on the 30 milligram in there trying to compare to the 30 milligram in which they don't compare at all be...

How can I obtain these for myself? ## Roxicodone (also known as Oxycodone) is a prescription drug and controlled substance that would require a valid prescription from your primary care doctor. Here in the U.S. that is only safe and legal way to obtain these pills for yourself. More details about this drug can be viewed in the link below: Please post back if you need help locating a pain management doctor in your area and/or local pharmacy to fill your valid prescription. I hope this helps! ## Well I don't do to pain specialist , I go to a Interalist who specializes in Bones , I have had a bone disease since I was 13 years old, everything from working in a shipyard for 14 years sandblasting and spray painting to working in an Insurance office as an agent working myself up to distric...

I need a picture of the oxycodone pill that is green and round with the imprint of GG 44. Thank you. ## Hi Tim, The problem is, there is no Oxycodone tablet with that imprint. A round green pill marked with GG over 44 on one side and blank on the other, is reportedly identified as a 25mg Amitriptyline hydrochloride tablet; an antidepressant. If it's of any help, the pill I'm referring to is said to be approximately 6mm in size. You can also view a photograph of it by clicking on the following National Drug Code link: 00781-1487 ## The pill that I'm talking about with a GG 44 is a narcotic pain pill ## I need a picture of oxycodone hcl 20mg to see what it looks like. Np 14 Supposed to be equal to 20 mg of Oxycodone /Roxicodone. I just got the script for them and they are terrible. I've been on oxycodone/Roxy for 15 years and can totally tell from the first pill I took that something was wrong with these pills. They make me feel worse. There is no way that these pill are what they claim to be. First of all they make it almost impossible for people that do have legitimate reasons for taking this medicine, impossible to get filled in the first place. Then they give us this bogus medicine, that these companies are making millions and trillions of dollars off of us and it's not even real medicine. This can't be legal! Can it? ## Hello, MrCushmann! How are you? I am very sorry that this tablet didn't work for you. However, it is a legal FDA...

If I take two different pills, one that's marked 224 30mg and the other pill marked 14 (20mg) - [both I understand are oxycodone] - Does that equal 50mg? And is that okay? Side effects the same? I've been taking pain meds for 10 years. ## Yes, that would be the same as taking 50mgs and no, it is not too high of a dose, if you're opiate tolerant. Just be sure to see your doctor regularly, so they can monitor you for any problems and to only take it as prescribed. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

do they make 20 mg roxys that are green. because I have some and I need to know what they are? ## Hello, Angel! How are you? What are the markings on them? That is what would enable me to identify them for you, the color doesn't mean anything. Can you please post back with this information? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## yes! I TAKE ROXY 20 MG ON ONE SIDE IMPRINT IS N P AND THE OTHER SIDE HAS 14 IMPRINTED ON IT

I would like to chime in here. If all possible do not take oxycontin er. I have been on them for 7 years now. I was taking Norco for a muscle disease I got for chemicals when I was in the army. I had a heart attack later on and my doctor at the time said I had to take these OXY. That it was safer if I knew what I know know I would have punched him in the mouth. I was on 140 mg er. I am now chemically dependant on them. It's miserable up and down wake up in the morning in full blown withdrawals. I have been self tapering myself off of them. This is a very very miserable. I am now down to 10 mg 3 times a day. Getting ready to go to ir's. I dropped 10mg ever couple of weeks to get here. I will never take another opiate when I can get off. If you are in my boat I am here to say you ...
