I took a half 10 mg of oxycodone two days ago and that's all. Then I took a swab test today. Will I pass? ## hot damn , glad this was from 2015 lol i almost cried when reading this at the non-intentional humor ;). IF you took a mouth swab that day.... you wouldnt be asking such a question at this point or time during the day due to the fact you would have received your results immediately. ............ lmao x_x

I went to my pain management doctor about a month ago, and a clinician came into the room and did an unexpected mouth swab test on me. I asked what was this for and she replied it was a metabolic DNA mouth swab test. I already get urinalysis tested every time I go to my p.m. appointments, so why all of a sudden this sneak attack? I asked the doctor about this test and she said, Obama passed this new law that they had to see if patients were getting the correct dosage of meds so and how it reacts in the body. I called a lab, and they said they never heard of such a thing. Doctor gave me a mouth swab and it showed positive for hydrocodone but I'm not taking that med, I'm on percocet 10mg, why is it giving a false reading of hydrocodone? ## I would like to know the same thing! I tested positive for hydrocodone and only take percocet and gabapentin. I have been removed from my pain clinic over this and dont know what to do because i actually do need my meds. Unlike many around here I do NOT sell my medication nor do i share my meds. I sometimes need more than i get but get by. I had gotten 2 mouth swabs previous to the one last week and because I'm prescribed oxycodone I passed the other 2, but this one came back positive for heroin. I don't get it. I did nothing different. Something came up this time. Can anyone tell me please? I'm confused and it really put me in a bad spot. Can u dispute a swab test?

I take 5 mg oxycodone and have so for years , on occasion I have taken a few 15mg my probation officer is saying with my past two swab tests that I am positive for opiates . I thought oxycodone is an opiate. He said they can test the levels and that i must be overusing or abusing. Is it possible to tell exactly what I took between 5mg and a 15mg. Im allowed 8 a day of 5mg if i happen to have taken the 15mg but only at the most 3 and no 5's can they tell that ??? ## They will tell you that just to try and scare you from taking a larger dose. Hi. I took 160mg of oxycodone on Friday night and Saturday morning. I have a Silva test on Thursday morning. I take 20 mg once a week and before Friday i didn't take anything in 10 days. I drank 3 gallons of water from Monday to Wednesday and im 5"11 and 210lbs. My po sent out the Saliva test and its been 5 days and i didn't hear anything yet. I hope im ok. I have been taking prescribed oxycodone since 2010 for pain management. I take about 80 to 120 milligrams a day. My husband takes OxyContin, oxycodone and neurontin for pain. He also takes clonazepam. He had a mouth swab done recently and it came back positive for OxyContin, percocet mb, & oxymorphone. Then it comes down and says unexpected results: negative: Opana, pt oxycodone. What does this mean and where did percocet come from? Really confused. He hasn't take Percocet in over 15 months since his accident. Anyone know? Can a mouth swab test tell which opiates are used? I am prescribed oxycodone but if I had to take a morphine, will it know the difference? I know a urine test can pinpoint which opiates were taken. Can a mouth swab do the same? ## Yes they can tell a difference.. Oxycodone is "semi" - synthetic opiate.. Reason why I say semi is because they do need real opiates in them to be considered opiates.. A mouth swab can get exact chemicals from your body.. I have not taken heroin in a year and a half but had a hair follicle test and it came back positive. I swear on my brother's grave I have not had any since then. Also I do mouth swabs now for my drug test and it came back positive for morphine. I am highly allergic to morphine and will go into anaphylactic shock. I am on oxycodone HCl. So I'm supposed to be taking oxycodone 4x daily and haven't been. My doctor did a genetic urine test and mouth swab. I told her I hadn't taken any in 13 days. Will the test show there is none in my system at all? She said it was to see how my body metabolizes meds. I actually took them a month ago. Would those still be in my system?
