I have been taking pain meds for quite some time now, and have been trying to figure out why I'm prescribed generic Percocet with Hydrochloride? I would appreciate any feedback you have. Thanks so much in advance! ## Hello, Angela! How are you? It is just Oxycodone, the hydrochloride is used to designate the specific chemical salt that the medication was derived from, some prescriptions list it, some don't. But, it is the same medication. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you so much for the information..I've wondered about that for quite a while. Glad I found this site..a lot of good informati...

Have been using 5 mg. Want to reduce, but 5 mg pills are too difficult for me to split, Therefore, I need a source for the various mg options. I have cancer and might need to increase later, so need a reliable source, preferably makers and wholesalers. Reason: to tell my retailer where to get the stuff. ## Felix-Good news! Pill cutters are available at the pharmacy for a few dollars and cut ANYTHING! !

small yellow one side has 445 and the other side has h13 ## Well, for the h13, you are looking at the pill upside down. That is actually an ETH, the logo for the pharmaceutical company Ethex. That said, ETH 445 is Oxycodone 15mgs, a generic for Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation of the narcotic. Some of the side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, constipation and dry mouth.

White round with 30 on it the other side alone with a P on top and a R oon the bottom ## Hello, Icess! How are you? The tablet that I am familiar with that's in the U.S. prescription databases has the marking R P 30, it's manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceutical and they list it as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My pharmacy just switched generic brands again to KVK tech. I take the 15 mg pill. Are these effective for pain relief? I've tried other manufacturer's brands and they worked okay. Does anyone know about these K8 pills? I really hope the pharmacy stops changing generics each month. ## Hello, Dobie13! How are you? If you've not had a problem with the other generics, then it's very likely that this one will also work well for you, but the only thing you can do is try it and see. As to the pharmacy changing regularly, that is most likely going to continue. It will happen, whenever they need to restock and they will order whichever one has the cheapest price at that time. It's what is always done with generics, to help keeps costs as low a possible for their cash paying ...

I searched for pills A 04 and it turns out that it's Oxycodone hydrochloride 5 mg and that it's not Oxycodsone with the Tylenol. Just wanted to know if it is safe to add tylenol to the Oxycodone hydrochloride 5 mg? Or does the Oxycodone hydrochloride 5 mg come with tylenol already? ## This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone, in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. It can be taken with Acetaminophen/Tylenol, if your doctor approves, but this tablet does not contain any as manufactured. Is there anything else I can help with?

It is scored so I took half with 2 tylenol. Very little relief but I take 1mg Clonazepam 4 times per day for anxiety and am afraid of interaction. Moderate back pain has not really subsided and I took it 40 minutes ago. Also afraid of a "hangover" effect if I take the other half. I want to be pain free but functional tonight and not sleep 12 hours. Any experience appreciated. ## What are the markings on the Oxycodone tablet? The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications, or have you listed them all?

Hi looking for some guidance hoping someone could shed some light. I have very chronic neck and back pains. I also having bulging disk in my neck C4 all the way to C6. I have been on Norco, Vicadin, Ibuprofen 800, genetic Percocet and name brand Percocet ( the hello pill with the Percocet logo on it) I have had 2 neck procedures done. The first was an epidural shot with trigger points and the second was a radio frequency medial branch remi. Nothing has helped me my doctor is really looking to help me get better I don't know why no matter what I take or do the darn pain just won't go away. You would think be being so tiny the pills would effect me and they don't! I am 5'3 120lbs and I have taken at times 8/10 Percocets in a day to no avail. Just today my doctor changed my...

I had surgery on my foot/ankle about 5 days ago. My dr prescribed percocets 5-325 for the first few days and now oxycodone hcl 5. I have only been prescribed percocets after my 3 c-sections so I don't really know a lot about pain killers. I asked my dr what the difference was and she rambled a lot of big words which I didn't understand. I have tried researching but all of the info is so technical. I pretty much want to know.. in layman's terms, or from someone who is or had taken at some point what the actual difference is besides the percocets also have tylenol in them. Is one stronger(even though they are both 5 mg of oxycodone), last longer, different side effects besides liver with use of tylenol? I am asking because I feel like the percocets helped more with the pain an...

I hurt myself really bad both as a kid and young man. My body is shot. As a kid on a 100cc dirt bike on the street coming down steep hill I lost breaks or panicked, anyhow couldn't stop ran out of road. Just me and about a 14" high curb stop. (new development). I hit that curb full throttle. My guess around 50 mph. No helmet. I landed in a brushy patch with rocks. Was unconscious for about 25 min. No MRI, back then I got X-rays, aspirin and was sent on my way. Because that happened. I got constant migraine headaches. My neck always and I mean always hurts. My vision gets fuzzy at times. My shoulder and blades are always in and out of position. Hips, knees, I can go on and on tons of pins and needles in all my extremities. Sometimes burning sensations too. I was 8 or 9. At 12 pla...

What type of syringe is correct as well as dosage equivalents? Can you administer this type by iv? ## Hello, Porvidavela! How are you? No, oral medications should only be taken orally as they may contain substances that are not safe for using in such a manner, such as fillers, sugars or etc. that may be dangerous. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. This dosage is 100mg per teaspoon, or 20mg per fifth of a teaspoon. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking oxycodone acetaminophen 10/325 for some time; now my pharmacy has changed to oxycodone hydrochloride. It bothers my stomach and doesn't seem to work as well. What is the difference between the two? ## The second one you've listed just lacks the Acetaminophen, going by what you've said in your post. What is the dose of it? The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The Acetaminophen does help it work better, for some people.

Can you take this medication while you're pregnant? My friend is taking this and she is saying that she is pregnant. ## Hello, Amber! How is your friend doing? Hydrochloride in itself is not a medication, it simply designates the specific chemical salt that a medication has been derived from, as explained by the NIH. Thus, there should be some other component to the name of the medication, for example, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, or Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride. Thus, can you please double check the name of the medication and post back? Thanks!

I had reconstructed surgery on both my feet. For 4 months I was on generic Diloded.(hydromorphone) My Dr.just put me on 5mg oxycodone with Hydrochloride. He said it's supposed 2b stronger than Percocet. Can sum1 tell me if that's true. Sincerely-B. 9/12/16 ## Hello, Blacky! How are you? No, it is about the same, maybe a little weaker, depending on your body's individualism. If you look at the NIH pages regarding this, Percocet contains Oxycodone with Acetaminophen. The Acetaminophen augments that action of the Oxycodone for some people that take it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. The only thing you can do is try it and see if it helps y...

Just came across this same situation! Oxycodone Hydrochloride 80mg long yellow tablets with no markings at all. It looks fake but even is in the packaging that says rhodes pharmacy from somewhere in North Carolina. Honestly, it would be very simple for someone in India to pass off fake pills and packaging. It could be just plain sugar pills and due to the placebo effect it may even cure pain for someone who believes it is what it says it is. Another person, however, not believing it has no effect at all. Such is the game of illegal pill importation. You never know what you're gonna get. Kinda like a box of chocolates... ## Well said! In my opinion the best way for patients to guard themselves is to make sure that they only fill prescriptions at licensed pharmacies and not through ot...

I was prescribed this from a doctor as 5mg oxycodone hydrochloride and someone on here said it's a Loratadine pill??? ## That is correct, the tablet with the GG 296 marking is manufactured b Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Loratadine, which is an antihistamine that is most commonly used to treat allergic reactions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. However, your doctor does not actually have any control over the medication that your pharmacy provides you with, so are you sure the mistake wasn't made at the pharmacy? Can you double check the imprint and post back?

We are looking for the Oxycodone Hcl liquid that does not have saccarine sweetner in it. ## Most of them are going to contain some type of sweetener, to prevent the oral solutions from tasting awful. I am not sure which company makes any that don't have one of them in it. Have you tried asking your pharmacist if they can located any? Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## There is a morphine hydrochloride 5mg/ml but comes in other mgs talso 20mg/ml smg/ml etc etc made by a company in Sydney australia called ordine5 oral solution its in a aqueous solution with no sweetner it is alcohol and and sugar free .it is flavoured to improve taste but not by a sugar ## Mallinkrodt Brand oral solution has no sweetener , it tastes disgusting

Those are the exact ones I came across.. From my reaserch I think they are fake to be honest ## They are counterfeit. Rhodes does not sell any such product. ## Are you the person who originally posted about these pills? I can't even find my comment I left yesterday or the day before. The same person just gave me two tan oblong pills and said they were also from India. No markings except a line going down the middle. He has a bad tooth ache and he said they helped a lot. I'm very skeptical of taking either of these pills because they don't have imprints. I took a whole white round pill that the package said was distributed from Rhodes pharmaceuticals and manufactured by Purdue. It didn't do anything to me. Again the pill didn't do anything for me and 80mg you would th...

I recently received some roxycodone's 30mg from India and they don't look anything like original blue 30mg roxies.. They look like maybe watson 10/500 hydro/apap or maybe 7.5 hydro/apap with lots of filler.. What was strange is the sealed packaging actually says roxycodone and describes the little blue pill with the 54 199 imprint used to identify the roxy's. These don't have any imprint on them. I'm sure they're not real or maybe some other sort of pill, but I'm very curious to see what the picture database pulls them up as (if anything as they're generic yellow looking capsules, but I also have the 10-pack packaging that claims there roxy's they were sealed in for reference as well. ## India has different marking rules than the FDA here in the US.
