been going to pain managment clinic in tampa florida this entire year the name brand pharmacy;s don't carry the medication so i cant use my insurance. so mom and pop pharmacies carry it but wont take insurance. I've been taking (4) 80 mg of oxycotin for over 10 years. My insurance changed rules and put me at 50% payment which is $900. I can't afford that. So the Docter wrote a 10 day supply of name brand oxycodone and the payment would have been $300. Cheaper by prescription. ## @da, Based on my research, a quantity of 30 oxycodone 5mg pills from the pharmacy may cost an 'estimated' $20 (cash out-of-pocket) without the presence of insurance or savings cards. However, discount cards tend to make these tablets a lot cheaper when you go the legal route; often times cutting the cost in half. So that may be something to factor into consideration if you are getting them from a retail pharmacy. You might even want to call them up first just to verify the total before moving forward. I found a pill that is white, with justthe number 15 imprinted on one side. Nothing else, no lines, letters, nothing. It is round in shape. I was told it was a15 Mg percocet from someone who is a veteran. i need to change medicine from oxycodone way too expensive to something as effective but not as expensive ## There are Morphine equivalents to all the formulations of Oxycodone, the time released, regular release and the instant release. They are all available as generics, so you could ask your doctor about them. I remember when I was on pain management and had a time period where we were switching from on insurance to the other, so there was a break where I had no coverage, the Morphine was less than half what the Oxycodone cost, though it is still not cheap. I take 4 15mg Oxycodone per day but sometimes its green ones & the oblong white ones which dont seem to work as well. I have bad disc's in back, arthritis in all joints & neuropathy pain also. Since being told about pancreatitis and gallstones until I am cleared for surgery am living in constant pain. Can't have normal existence that once was. I was just switched from Qualitest oxycodone 15 mg IR to Mylan 15 mg IR because my insurance won't pay for it because the cost went up on Qualitest. My question is I am concerned about the effectiveness of the Mylan oxycodone. I had good pain relief from the Qualitest green pills. I've been living in Florida for 25 years due to a severe injury to my left femur that had been shattered in a car accident over 30 years ago. I couldn't live in N.J. through the winter months. my mom has been on methadone for 13 years. She is on 135 mgs of the methadone.
