What is the difference between tramadol hcl 50 mg and oxycodone 30 mg tablets ## Tramadol is a centrally acting analgesic of the opioid class, but it is not classified as a narcotic. It really doesn't work as well as the actual narcotics do, for some people. Oxycodone is an actual narcotic and is much stronger and more effective for a lot of people. Since they do share similar characteristics, the side effects that they both can cause are very similar and can include: nausea, dizziness, constipation and drowsiness. Are there any other questions?

What will happen if u mix these two plus lorazepam ## Hello, Bree! How are you? Has your doctor approved you taking all 3 of these medications? Zzzquil contains the active ingredient Diphenhydramine, it is classified by the FDA as an antihistamine that is also used to help promote sleep. Its typical side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. The main issue with taking all 3 is they all cause depression of the central nervous system, which for some people might be too much and could be dangerous. Their blood pressure and heart rate may drop too low, sending them into a coma or causing death. Thus, these shouldn't be mixed, without your doctor's approval. I was taking lortab 10/500 blue with Watson 540 stamped on the pill, taking four a day. My pain has worsened. Dr changed my meds to Oxycodone 10mg it's very small (pink with k56 on the pill). What's the difference? Got me taking 1 every 4 to 6 hours and 180 a month. Is that ok? Or should I be worried? ## Hi Todd, Both of these medications are narcotics that are classified as controlled substances. Although they have similar side effects and drug interactions, they are different drugs. Oxycodone is generally considered to be more potent than Hydrocodone (although some people may find Hydrocodone to work better, due to individual differences in how people react to medications). It is also available as a single-ingredient medication or in combination with other active ingredients, ...

I'm on 30mg of oxycodone with 342mg express pain relief containing ibuprofen lysine and extra power reliever tablets containing paracetamol, aspirin and caffeine is this ok ## Hello, Mavis! How are you? Both Ibuprofen and Aspirin are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, so you shouldn't be taking them both. It's safer to stick with one or the other, to avoid overdosing yourself. As reported by the FDA, you also increased your risk of bleeding and possibly experiencing a stomach ulcer by taking too much of them. I had been taking 150mg of tramadol and had only two 50mg of tramadol left so I took it with only 10mg of oxycodone. I need to know is it safe to take 100mg of tramadol with one 10mg of oxycodone? ## They are both classified as opiates, so you may experience more side effects than normal, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, and constipation. However, there could also be a risk of overdose, if you are not opiate tolerant. In the future, it would be best not to combine them, unless your doctor instructs you to do so. Did you experience any adverse effects?

Oxycodone is classified by the FDA as a narcotic, so being addicted to it and abusing it can be very dangerous and is something your friend should get help with. i take oxycodone 10/325 3x day, oxy 12 extended 2x day, and a few other meds. I hate so many meds. Pain is still in effect some days better , or worse. My question is how harmful are these to my body? Diluadid works better with less to take. honest which is worse? Some days I rather hurt than take it all. ## None is worse or more harmful than another, they are all opiate narcotics, as classified by the FDA, so they carry the possibility of causing the same risks, the same side effects; such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation, and all also carry the risk of being habit forming. The amount of harm, of course, depends on whether or not you abuse them, or take them as prescribed, unless you're allergic to one of them and suffer a bad reaction from that, as detai...

i am taking tramadol right now and it is not working enough... can i take oxycodone for the same pain? ## Hi Amber, Based on the personal reviews of others, I'd imagine oxycodone to be considerably stronger than tramadol. There have been a number of patients on here complaining that tramadol doesn't do anything for them and even go so far as wondering why it's even classified as a pain killer. I don't know if that's an overstatement since everyone reacts differently to it, but if you have a prescription for oxycodone, it should be a much more potent alternative. Regarding the differences between the two medications you can learn more about them in the links below: Tramadol Details Oxycodone Details I hope this helps! ## Hello Amber I take tremadal n gabapentin 300mg ...

would this be classified as oxycontin ? they are small pink pill--19mg ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so the equivalent without the Acetaminophen would be Roxicodone. OxyContin is a time released formulation. Additionally, there is no 19mg tablet. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? ## Oxycontin is simply an extended release version of Oxycodone.
