If I took a 20 mg of prednisone this morning for my bad knee can I take a 5 mg of oxycodone later in the evening can't take the pain? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? That should be fine, as long as they've both been prescribed by your doctor. I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between the two, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. However, these medications are often prescribed together. Prednisone is classified by the FDA as a steroid that is used to treat swelling, inflammation, allergic reactions and immune disorders. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, fluid retention, acne and insomnia. Oxycodone is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may ca... ...

Can aspirin for thrombosis be mixed with oxycodone acetaminophen & prednisone?
1 Reply RSS
can oxycodone acetaminophen 5 325 be taken with 325 mg of aspirin? I'm having a lot of leg pain. I also have been diagnosed with superficial thrombosis, so I'm supposed to be taking aspirin every day. Also wondering if prednisone can be taken with aspirin, or should be taken at all with superficial thrombosis? The prednisone was prescribed to treat the severe leg pain I was having due to sciatica nerve issues. For some reason I think that you should avoid steroids if you have superficial blood clots, but not sure. ## Hello, Royalpain79! How are you doing? Sorry that you've been in pain. With your rather complicated medical history, you really need to check all of this out with your doctor. It would be remiss of anyone online that isn't familiar with it to try to advise y... ...

So no, it isn't likely that the narcotics have had anything to do with it. How much Prednisone do you take, how often do you take it and for how long of a time period? While taking high doses for a long period of time, your adrenal gland detects that there are already enough steroids in the body, so it stops producing cortisol. A slow withdrawal must be done to a... ...
