I recently got my prescription filled and discovered that my generic Watsons changed to actavis. They are horrible!! They don't work even close to Watsons! Im in pain because they don't work as well. Im very disappointed and will be finding a different pharmacy!!!! ## Hello, Bthcal! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you've had. Many people have actually complained about this one. What I'd suggest is reporting the issue to the FDA, you can reach them at 888-463-6332. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I've been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like...

Hi there, Who among us was getting generic percocet by actavis mfr up until walgreens switched to Camber mfr. (RECENTLY) Well...here,s my question....We were getting generic actavis and for many of us, it helped us. I think all of us have heard that a "BRAND NAME" Holds it's patton for 20 years? Then, it goes generic..RIGHT? Well, I have been told by numerous places that the "GENERIC ACTAVIS PERC" went to a "BRAND NAME" How in the world does that happen??? How can a generic suddenly go to a brand name that insurance will not cover? Think about that.... ## The patent is held for 18 years, but there can be some exceptions that allow for additional time, or for a generic to come to market sooner. And no, a generic does not become a name brand, a generic stays a ...

Los Angeles area, Beverly Hills- looking for a pharmacy that carries Actavis 30 mg A-215 Oxycodone pill. My pharmacy carries the Mallinkroft Brand, and I like Actavis. Can someone please point me to a legit pharmacy, my script is legit. Thx ## Hello, I like Actavis Oxycodone 30mg too!! With all of the negative posts about it, I decided to take one of my Actavis 30mg Oxycodone pills and have it evaluated. Indeed, it came back as having 29.3 Active Ingredient. Comparing to other brand mama's and their results, my Actavis pill was in the most high range. That suited me just fine!! ## Hi PepitoK, I live in Beverly Hills area and have a valid prescription I'm having trouble filling this time but do not care what brand...any help with pharmacies in the area that may be able to assist ...

On 4/12/17, I received my monthly script of Oxycodone from Walgreens, from Mfg. Actavis as Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325MG TB. The medication did not dull my pain as usual, but continued to use and began to feel very ill, vomiting and having diarrhea, ending up in the hospital for four days, during which I lost all my strength and needed Physical Therapy for three months and I am still having to use a walker. There was never a diagnosis of the cause of my hospitalization, but now I know that after I had not used the medication for a period of three months and now needed pain relief again, that after ll days of use, I was experiencing the same thing that had put me in the hospital in the first place, the Actavis Oxycodone! There is a problem with Actavis and they should be investigated....

Hmmm...My experience is just the Opposite!! I been getting Oxycodone 15 mg that was manufactured by both Watson And Malencroft!! I take 1 every 4 hours and I tell you, the last few times of getting them via these two manufacturers was like taking aspirin...Absolutely little to No effect. Plus I found myself wanting to take More than prescribed because I work a very physical job (and love it). I am not one of those people that feel they just need to stay home, feel high on their pain meds, and not e gen Try to do better. Not at all saying who is and is not doing that. But just saying that I am Not one of them. Anyway, However, this was the first time I got my Oxies filled and the mfg is Actavis. And I was not even looking at the mfg. But what happened is I took one of my oxy 15's and...

My husband takes the generic form of Percocet for severe chronic breakthru pain. I am looking for assistance in paying for his medications. He is on medicare w/ a supplement incl part d however he is now in the medication gap making this a very expensive rx. Anyone know of any assistance resources? ## @grannychoas, This site actually offers a drug discount card that can reportedly save you anywhere from 15% to 75% off your Rx, potentially cutting the cost by more than half. You can view more details about it on the following page: RX Savings Card Just print out that card for your husband and have him bring it whenever he goes to fill a prescription. At that point the pharmacy should be able to determine how much of a discount he'll receive. I'd be curious to know if the percenta...

I had been on Watson 10/325 for a few months for chronic shoulder neck pain. Yesterday I got a new prescription and CVS filled it with an A333 long pill (Actavis). Now I find ~ after questioning the pharmacist and scouring the Internet ~ that Watson is no longer available and {I also find} that the pills I received are probably Actavis' newly released abuse-deterrent pill. This was dispensed as a regular generic version of my Percocet prescription....of which nobody mentioned the switch. After taking one I became very ill, dizzy, sweats and had difficulty breathing for the better part of the day ~ none of which ever occurred with the Watson pills. Can you confirm that Watson will no longer be manufacturing the 10/325 Oxy and that these are actually the alleged "test" run of ...

I have used oxycodone for years, rsd, and started the brand again several years ago during shortage. they worked so well I was able to drop from 240 to 180 in two months. Xanodyne 30mg. They sold to Mallencroft and are very expensive now. I tried a generic- Activis recommended by pharmacy. Not only did they NOT WORK they gave me severe anxiety - the same feeling I got when they tried to give me anti depressants for pain. Horrifying side effects- I was extremely anxious, had paranoia and negative thoughts, afraid to be alone. The pharmacy replaced with the brand but it took five days to get back to baseline with pain and psyche. I am terrified now of the generic but the brand are over 1,000 a month, half w/insurance. In the past I have been given all sorts of drugs to try for chronic pai...

I used to take Watson percocet and never had any problems and it took away my pain. The Actavis is nothing like the Watsons and have terrible side effects and feels like you are taking a placebo - NO pain relief. If you have to take more to get any type of pain relief you will suffer alot of GI problems. Anyone else notice this difference? ## Hi Lisa, While I don't have personal experience with Actavis products, I have heard numerous complaints about most of their oxycodone and percocet tablets being far below what is considered standard quality. I'm thinking there's a couple different things that may be at cause here. Excess amounts of binders/fillers are usually the first to be blamed for those who experience GI related issues. This is likely the case with most generic med...

Im on the 15 mg..I was on the V 15s And now everywhere i go there A 15s These kill my stomach.. And today was a little blood when i vomited. yes!, they make me SICK to my stomach..My friend stopped by 3 days ago..Shes on the V 15..I switched 6pills with her.. I was fine all day yesterday...She however got a bad headache and did not feel right...Something is wrong with these Actavis pills...Why do they hurt my stomach and make me puke..If they did anything to the lining of my stomach.. I will sue.. ## Hello, Dawn! How are you? There is always a risk of experiencing side effects, when you take any medication, but there are no grounds for a law-suit, unless the company knows of some dangers and deliberately tries to hide it. If you had blood in your emesis, then you need to have that check...

I used to request Watson brand esp with soma. I had my script filled and the brand dispensed was Actavis and I think it's weak. I am not a fan and trust me, I'm an expert on the good and bad brands. This is supposed to be the company that bought Watson which is a drag BC I can't find my soma's anymore unless Walgreens carries them. Actavis is a weak, short acting pain pill. My suggestion is to ask what brands they offer and avoid this one. At least for me, if you have a high tolerance, this is to be avoided. If you can't avoid it, then sucks for you. Good luck but an fyi from a pain pill consumer. There's other choices. We should have a funeral for good 'ol Watson meds. They were well made! ## I prefer actavis and have my pharmacy order it for me... Watson an...

Have taken watson percocet for years (spinal fusions) and just asked the doc to drop down to x3 a day because pain was manageable. well I get this A333 oblong pill and get: no pain relief, anxiety with mood swings, constipation and indigestion with bloating! I have taken other manufacturers before...with no problems; this time? MAJOR ISSUES! Something isn't right. ## Hi tracy, You're not alone with regards to the weaker A333 pill. There are actually several threads here talking about this very topic. I haven't pinpointed what the problem is yet, but many people here seem to think that Actavis is using less active ingredients than what is listed on the label. Either that or they stuff their pills with so many binders & fillers that our bodies can barely absorb it. One thi...

I received the Actavis brand of oxycodone for 3 months until I almost had a meltdown. I had all the symptoms mentioned above, along with severe depression and anxiety. I was starting to think I had possibly built a resistance to the drug and that is why it was not working anymore. I have 2 elementary age children and I am Mr. Mom. With 4 bulging disk in my lower back I have bone rubbing on bone and am in pain 24/7. I finally went from pharmacy to pharmacy and showed them my physical prescription for oxcodone 10/325, explained the side effects I had with Actavis brand and told the pharmacist that I would switch all my scripts/business to their pharmacy if they had a generic oxycodone that was not Actavis and worked! It was not easy and took several stops., however in the end I am happy t...

i guess it was actavis that acquired Watson - anyway. the name of actavis president is Paul Bisaro - they are becoming global; maybe they are making this stuff in India, who knows? ## That's the scary part.....who knows where it's being made! The quality is suppose to be according to US standards but this is the second pain med, that I know of, in less than 2 years from them that has been terrible. Horrible side effects and no pain relief! Is this how they are fighting the war on drugs? Do they think everyone will just stop taking meds and live with the pain and suddenly the drug scene will be obsolete? Freaking irresponsible bas*****! No, I don't think so......I think they will find one of 2 things happen.....an increase in suicides or H use! There has already been an incre...

I usually always took a different brand of percocet 5/325. My new dr called my script into Walgreens (usually i went thru hy-vee). I have been taking the Actavis brand since 4/18/16. I went yesterday to my dr. She evaluated my urine to check the opioid level. I got a call this morning from her- there is NO OPIOID in my system at all! I have been taking percocet for years due to a bad auto accident years ago. I took the pills to Walgreens, she would call dr and call me. She did-tried to tell me i hadn't been taking them! Basically called me a liar! Does anyone know where/how i could get these pills analyzed? Please let me know- {edited for privacy}. Thank-you

ok, this is the real deal regarding the generic 10mg oxycodone a333 made by Actavis - actually Actavis acquired Watson - Watson brand product was discontinued Jan. 2014 - it is hard to find another generic - my opinion is that Actavis undercut prices of other generics, so all the pharmacies are buying it - i totally agree that there is a huge difference in pain relief - Actavis is now a huge global pharmaceutical presence, second or third to, well, I can't remember the other companies, you could look it up - they are using Purdue Pharma's anti-abuse formula or whatever you want to call it - they are moving their corporate headquarters to Ireland to take advantage of the lower tax rates - I spoke to them a long time (2 hours), and also wrote the FDA regarding their product - the ...

I've noticed the 10mg k56 and the 15mg a214 effect me differently at the same dose (1.5 ks or 1 a) I know generics are supposed to be equivalent but we all know that's just not what's been happening (mallinkrodt generic Norco Percocet and oxycodone all are not better than Tylenol and their dilaudid is not the same as other brands either. But I was wondering in people's experience and opinion what kind of generic oxycodone provide the most relief. (3 car accidents, 3 surgeries) ## 10mgs and 15mgs are not the same dosage. One is higher than the other, so they will not work the same. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. The Norco, Percocet, and...

I live in bayonne nj - where can i fill my prescription for actavis oxycodone? ## Hello, Sj! How are you? Your prescription is just for Oxycodone, other than making it brand necessary, your doctor can't specify a specific manufacturer's product. And as to finding the ones from Actavis, I'm sorry, but there is no listing of which pharmacies carry medications from any given manufacturers. Have you tried going in person to the various ones in you area to ask? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## SJ, you might want to read the reviews about the Actavis oxycodone before you fill your rx - just letting you know that there are ALOT of people out the...
