The morbid was a higher mil. But perks are a lol better would try to get them in 10th nil. Tho if if tolorance is up from bein on em for that long. ## @Eric, I think ash answered your question pretty well. very small round white pill with M on one side and 0552 on one side is this a generic for percocet or lortab?? ## Neither! This tablet contains just 5mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Roxicodone. Percocet and Lortab also contain Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic pain reliever. Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation. ## How much stronger is Oxycodone 5mg tab than a regular aspiran. ## The oxycodone 5 mg immediate release prescribed to me has M on one side and 05/52 on the other side. What do these numbers mean?

Is oxycodone hcl ir 5mg tab habit forming and if so, how bad? ## As with any highly regulated narcotic there is always a demand for it, whether it be for some sort of chronic pain, or for abusers on the black market. From time to time it goes on backorder because there may not be enough to meet the demand. From working in a pharmacy it doesn't seem to be as commonly used whether it be for legal or illegal purposes as percocet, vicodin, or oxycontin ## Yes, Oxycodone is a narcotic, so it can be habit forming, however, how much really depends on various factors. Such as how long someone is taking it, how much they are taking and the person's own body. People that abuse it are going to have more problems than those that just take it as prescribed. Are there any other questions or c...

Does this have aspirin in it? Ic oxycodone hcl 5mg k 18 ## Hello, Sean! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by KVK Tech and they list it as only containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. What the different of oxycodone Kvk-tech and The oxycodone mallinkrdt ## What is the difference between oxycodone w/apap 5/325 (mck) and oxycodone hcl 5 mg tablet kvk? ## The only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. The MCK or Mallinkrdt denotes the manufacturer as being Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the KVK is for KVK Tech. Once a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies, so this is completely normal. Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor has just switched me from oxycodone HLC five MG tablets to Norco which also contains acetaminophen. I have been taking Tylenol with the oxycodone and I understand I should stop that medicine prior to taking the Norco. Is the Norco a milder medication and the oxycodone? What are the differences? ## Hi Jim, I'm not one to speak from personal experience, so I'll leave the more concrete details to others who've already tried both. However, according to several reviews I've come across, Hydrocodone is said to be a much milder (sedating) medication than Oxycodone with regards to potency and overall stimulation. Some people may find the sedating properties of Hydrocodone more suitable for their situation, but I think it really just comes down to personal preference in...

Is there apap in my oxycodone 5mg kvk hcl tab? Because people are saying there is apap in it. ## Hello, Lang! How are you? What are the markings on it? From what you've listed, it doesn't look like there's any APAP/Acetaminophen in it, if there were, a second dosage should be listed, so the label would have something like 5/325mg on it. However, if you can post back with the markings on it, I'll gladly double check for you to be sure. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I need to know how much acetomenaphine sp?) is in this capsule (or other similiar OTC). ## Oxycodone tablets do not contain Acetaminophen. I think you are referring to Percocet, which contains both. Is there any sort of imprint on your capsule? U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. For information on Percocet, you can click on the link below: For information on Oxycodone, follow this link: Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add. ## This capsule is Oxycodone hcl 5 mg; color is either yellow & white capsule (could be orange & white) with imprint "lv" on yellow/or...

Hey! So a little background on myself, I have been dealing with back pain for over 5 years, and finally switched to a new clinic who has confirmed that I have MS and Ankylosing Spondylitis Reactive Arthritis. I also have 2 discs out of place (L3 and L4). My doctor recently started me on Oxycodone HCl 5mg every 4-6 hours, but not to exceed 4 per day. Well here is my issue: they last a whopping hour and a half tops. So then I have to sit around in pain while being a stay-at-home mother to a 2 y/o, for at least another 2 hours. But I don't want to take more than prescribed, and I am not sure what to do at this point. Is there anything that lasts longer than this?? Thank you in advance! ## Hello, KLM0116! How are you? It is normal for your doctor to want to start you off with the lowest...

I have Hepatocellular Carcinoma, (liver cancer). My doctor put me on Oxycodone HLC, starting me out on 5MG tab and increasing as the cancer and pain progress. Right now I am on 10MG's but I believe 15MG's are in the very near future. I despise Opiates of any kind personally. So far so good with the small dosages, but as the MG's increase am I going to end up nauseous and sick like with Morphine and other Opiate medications? ## It is possible, but not very likely, if you're not already having those side effects. They would be much more likely to occur with a larger dosage jump. They are most likely to be mitigated for you, since you're gradually increasing, as needed. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects,...

Recently put on opany5mg with oxycodonehcll 5mg for breakthhrough pain 1 -2daily. I took the 2 this am but still feel the discomfort backwithin6hrs. Feel I need 1-2tabs of the oxycodone twice daily. Any feedback appreciated. Tkanks Barb ## Both Oxycodone and Opana are very powerful narcotic pain medications, that carry a risk of serious side effects, addiction and overdose. That said, we aren't medical professionals to advise you on this, you really need to speak to your doctor. You may require a dosage adjustment or a different medication to get your pain under better control. Here's the links to more information on both of these medications: Have you tried talking to your doctor? ## i was told that i should try methadone for d.d.d. and go off my norco since it has been loosing...

Oxycodone HCL 5mg tablet expires 9/25/2010...Is this dangerous to take if expired? ## Certain drugs are actually okay to take after expiration, whereas others such as antibiotics can become toxic. My personal assumption is that it lost a good percentage of its potency by now, having been 2 years past the expiration date. It may still be effective, but not nearly as potent. It's also impossible to give a direct answer to this question, since each medication can effect people differently. We all know that it's better to avoid the expired drugs and stay on the safe side, but unfortunately, the only way to find out is to actually try it. I wouldn't suggest taking that risk, but if you have no other option then it's probably worth a shot. There's a good little article lin...

I wish this company would be completely shut down. I am in serious pain. I was fine until my prescription needed refilled and I received Aurolife Pharma llc brand as the replacement. I cannot believe the difference. I have an injured spine and neck. I hadnt felt pain in what seemed like forever. As soon as I took the first dose I felt nothing. I thought well maybe its just because these are from a different pharmaceutical company or they might take longer or something. Its been four days and their U22 5mg Oxycodone hcl is garbage. On the 3rd day I used a single day supply that I had left in my prior months prescription bottle from a different pharmaceutical company and I had no pain. Now today is the 4th day and I am forced back into using these horrible pills from this horrible company...

I have used Oxycodone 5, 10, and 20 mg. The trouble with the slower active Oxycodone is that you cannot tell when it is going to work, and it also slows down your GI function. I also find I am short of breath. Why is it getting so difficult to fill a prescription for 5mg? And why is it so much more expensive? ## Are you referring to the time released? If so, it starts working within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it. And which 5mg formulation are you asking about, the instant release, or the regular release?

I've had two surgeries, received oxcodone for both surgeries. I just noticed I've got the same dosage (5mg) but at the end one says amn, the other says kvk. How do the two prescriptions differ, if at all? ## Those are just abbreviations for the manufacturer, amn stands for Amneal Pharmaceuticals and the KVK is KVK Tech, but the medication is the same. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the difference with the suffix on prescriptions, HCL vs. KVK? ## After surgery my doctor prescribed KVK Tech. pills which were smaller and made me feel very alert. Subsequently my physi...
