I am taking oxycodone hcl 10 mg tablets. my pharmacist filled a new script with np 12 brand. I occasionally divide them to dose only as needed; which does not work very well. They dulled my pill cutters. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this problem? ## Hello, Dust! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you've had. No, that is a new one that no one else has mentioned, at least not yet. Are you making sure to line it up and cut with the little scores that are on the tablet? That usually makes it easier, since that's where they're intended to be cut or broken. I live in Jacksonville Florida and have been on Oxycodone HC 30 mg for about 4 Years and never had any problem getting them filled. But Know in the last Year it is so hard to get them filled. Can someone tell me a good place to get them filled. And why is such a problem know? ## Several issues arose in Florida and the biggest one that I think has been affecting the supply is that most pharmacies were found to be ignoring the laws that state how much they can order and keep in stock each month. So, prior to the past year when the crackdown occurred by the DEA and FDA, they were basically obtaining an unlimited supply. However, now they can no longer do so, because their ordering practices are being very closely scrutinized. Learn more Oxycodone details here. As to where you can get them ...

Hello everyone & top o' the mornin to ya! the medicine you are speaking of and have described, is in fact, a 20mg oxycodone. Oxycodone HCL to be exact..which is pretty much a 20mg instant release percocet with no tylenol added..tiny round grayish pill with 14 and N P & scored imprints... side effects vary..im a little more dizzy than id like to be! not used to feeling this way from these kinds of meds. also the fillers are different & it does not dissolve in liquids or applesauce..but its for those same reasons that companies are changing medicines - so "certain people" cant abuse them. its to be taken by mouth only & the drug companies are trying to keep drug addicted people or needle addicted people from abusing medicines while all at the same time trying t...

Does anyone have any experience with this particular medication. I see that their are lots of complaints on there generic percoset, but I'm talking of just plain oxycodone 15 mg made by alvogen, any information would be great & most appreciated. Again not their percoset version, I'm speaking of plain oxycodone w/ no Tylenol. I cannot take tylenol as it causes my liver to have problems. Thank You! ## Hello, Peggy O! How are you? I've not run across any complaints posted on here, so far, from those that have been taking it. Alvogen is generally a reputable company that manufactures effective medications. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Ca...

Will the Oxycodone 10mg HCI WORK better then what I've been on was Oxycodone 10/325 yes or no ## Hello, Trace! I thought I'd already answered you, but maybe not…. Anyway, the Acetaminophen augments the efficacy of the Oxycodone in some people that take it, so there is a chance this may not work as well for you, but the only way to find out is by trying it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. very small round white pill with M on one side and 0552 on one side is this a generic for percocet or lortab?? ## Neither! This tablet contains just 5mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Roxicodone. Percocet and Lortab also contain Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic pain reliever. Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation. ## How much stronger is Oxycodone 5mg tab than a regular aspiran. ## The oxycodone 5 mg immediate release prescribed to me has M on one side and 05/52 on the other side. What do these numbers mean?

I have been on perocet 10/325 for many yrs, and now my Dr. Switched me to oxycodone HCl 20mg tablets.my question is, how do I know if it is a extended release or an instant release, as my script says neither on it ? I will be able to fill script in a couple days, and would just like to know, as I heard extended release doesn't work as well.....thank you... ## At this time, there is no generic extended release, that would have to be written under the name Oxycontin. If it is written as Oxycodone, it is most likely the regular release formulation. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and constipation. The MCK or Mallinkrdt denotes the manufacturer as being Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the KVK is for KVK Tech. Once a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies, so this is completely normal. Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor has just switched me from oxycodone HLC five MG tablets to Norco which also contains acetaminophen. I have been taking Tylenol with the oxycodone and I understand I should stop that medicine prior to taking the Norco. Is the Norco a milder medication and the oxycodone? What are the differences? ## Hi Jim, I'm not one to speak from personal experience, so I'll leave the more concrete details to others who've already tried both. However, according to several reviews I've come across, Hydrocodone is said to be a much milder (sedating) medication than Oxycodone with regards to potency and overall stimulation. Some people may find the sedating properties of Hydrocodone more suitable for their situation, but I think it really just comes down to personal preference in...
