Oxycodone 5 325 How Much Tylenol

I'm taking 1 oxycodone 5 mg and 2 tylenol 325 mg. I take this once or two times a day depending pain level. Is the mg in the tylenol too little or too much. Thank you ## Hello, Carol! How are you? The FDA limits the current prescription doses to no more than 325mgs per dose. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How many 325/5mg oxycodone would it take to be equivalent to a 15mg? I don't have anymore 15mg, all I have is 5mg. ## It would take about 3 of them, as long your doctor approves. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. It is the Acetaminophen that might be a problem. Too much of it could cause liver damage, or liver failure. Are you on any other medications?

I broke my foot and I'm in severe pain. What I have is called a lisfranc fracture. I was on Tylenol threes and they didn't help and then I got hydrocodone 5 - 3 - 5 and they didn't help the last thing I tried was Oxycodone 5 325 and they still didn't really take the pain away. So I asked my doctor for something that would help the pain and he prescribed me Tramadol 50 mg. I am apprehensive to get it filled and try it because I'm not reading anything positive about it. Please help! What is the next thing I should ask for if Oxycodone 5 325 isn't helping with my pain? My mom is 75 years old and has never really had to take opiate pain killers in the past. She doesn't even take them after a root canal. However, her hip started giving her trouble about 2 years ago, but just now is having so much pain that she has to take at least one pain pill so she can get up. She has Tylenol 3 with codeine and generic percocet. The tylenol 3 is starting to not control it, but she is afraid of becoming dependent So, big question. How many tablets can she take w/o becoming dependent? I can't get her to take two of either one of the two meds because she is so terrified! My mother is 74 yrs old. Had rotator cuff surgery 4 days ago. Had to take her to the ER on day two. There they gave her an IM Dilaudid shot and sent her home. Called the doctor on call the next day and ask if they could admit her for pain management, he proceeded to tell me that the insurance would not pay for it. Post-op surgery they gave her Percocet 7.5/325 1-2 every 4-6 hours for pain. To make a long story short. Two was too strong so she had the 5-325 and took two every four hours and that would help her pain level which would be tolerable at 5. This is 3900mg of tylenol. Too much in only 24 hours. was taking 10/325 endocet for a couple weeks, doc knew that I was taking 1 and a 1/2 at a time, switched me to 15mg oxycodone no Tylenol little green ones, they are not working that well, b 4 it was 15mg oxy with 550 mg Tylenol...he doesn't want me to take Tylenol really, is it to much to ask him for the 30mg oxycodone instead, cause with eating breakfast, lunch etc and my weight 270pds...its tuff to get pain relief from the 15mg and even adding another half of a 15mg...just wonder if anyone has any advice or knows what I am trying to say...or if anyone has or is in this situation...I new here. any comments or suggestions would be great...how do I know when someone answers or comments on my questions? thx T-bone ## I see this is an old post but thought someone else might find this i...

I ran 1 1/2 day short on my oxy IR and have left over hydro from dental surgery. Is how much hydro can i take until its time for my refill ## I alternate oxycodone and loracet to manage my pain and it seems to keep my tolerance down for each drug. And as far as the dose of loracet take as prescribed because to much Tylenol is very bad on your liver. I would look at it like this use your loracet as a get me by until u can fill ur oxycodone. I was prescribed 10/325 Hydrocodone, and 5/325 Oxycodone. Which is stronger for pain after rotator cuff surgery? I had surgery on my foot/ankle about 5 days ago. My dr prescribed percocets 5-325 for the first few days and now oxycodone hcl 5. I have only been prescribed percocets after my 3 c-sections so I don't really know a lot about pain killers. I asked my dr what the difference was and she rambled a lot of big words which I didn't understand. I have tried researching but all of the info is so technical. I pretty much want to know.. in layman's terms, or from someone who is or had taken at some point what the actual difference is besides the percocets also have tylenol in them. It's supplied by Akyma Pharmaceuticals. It can be purchased over the counter (OTC). Since Actavis acquired Watson I have experienced GI issues, headaches, and nausea from the 10/325 Oxycodone that is now replacing the Watson brand. I can NOT believe that the FDA would allow this replacement when the effectiveness is so very extreme. Prescription Tylenol contains codeine and this does not. This contains Acetaminophen 325mgs and Oxycodone 5mgs, it is generic Percocet or Endocet. I'm worried about my friend. She takes percocets and usually gets the ones that say 512. However sometimes she gets other kinds and complains about there not as good so she takes more. I know percocets have tylenol in them and i am worried about her overdosing on tylenol or the oxycodone in it. How much is to much? Hi i have been on the 50mcg patch for 2 months now and the provide much more relief than the mscontin 30mg did. I also get 180 10/325 percosets a month for breakthrough but am worried about my liver because of all th tylenol.
