Oxycodone 30mg Strongest

I'm a chronic pain patient who is wheelchair-bound due to the pain after a gunshot and I have just been increased from 20mg of Oxycodone. I was taking the NP 14 20mg and was increased to the 30mg Oxycodones; so what color of the 30mg's Oxycodones are the strongest or what number or imprint is the strongest? I was issued the 30mg Oxycodone with 30 on one side and RP on the other which is not helping as I thought it was, therefore I would like some information on what pill would be more beneficial for pain relief... The 30mg RP's that I was dispensed don't seem to be as strong as the 20's. Can someone tell me why that is or am I just tripping, or is this pill just of a lesser quality than the other 30's? Hi All, I experience pretty severe neuropathic pain due to a spinal injury. I have a Baclofen pump which also contains hydromorphone but still get a lot of breakthrough pain. I've been taking oxycodone for 8ish yrs. and the pills I was prescribed those first few yrs. did a good job at treating the pain. I've had to change pharmacies and notice lately the oxycodone 30s I've been given lately do little or NOTHING! Especially the Mallinckrodt! My doc prescribed 3 30mg pills a day but I had to munch 5 of the Mallinckrodts in a 4 hour period and still got barely any relief. I was worried I'd get constipated big time after taking that many pills several days in a row but I didn't (because they're so damn weak!) I don't know the mfg. of the oxys I was taking yrs ago...

My Dr. was prescribing me MS Contin 30mg. q 8hrs & Dilaudid 4mg q 4-6hrs. + Celebrex 200mg 1 daily. Now he suddenly took me off the MS Contin, I have been in extreme pain! There is a time released form of the Oxycodone available called Oxycontin, you could speak to your doctor about switching to that, since it would be stronger than the MS Contin. I TAKE 30MG OXYCODONE EVERY 8 HOURS AND IT NEVER LASTS. I START FEELING PAIN ABOUT 6 HOURS IN. I RAN OUT AN TOOK A 40MG MORPHINE AND IT LASTED ABOUT 10 HOURS. ## Hello, Sue! How are you? I believe this is one of the strongest roxicodne available. The next are the r215's. This is from someone who has been on them for 12 years. We (in Al)are not having the trouble that Fl or Ky is experiencing, knock on wood. Good luck to all y'all ## It depends on the precise marking. There is a light blue with an M in a box on one side and a 30 over the score line on the other that contains 30mgs of Oxycodone, it is a generic for Roxicodone. And there is no Oxycodone with R 215, the marking on that one would be A 215 and is also contains 30mgs, so it is identical, not stronger. Are there any comments or questions?

I am wondering if dilaudid is stronger than oxycontin? morphine? norco? norco 10/325? liquid 40ml norco 2.5mg/5ml? ## Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone. That said, it is a potent narcotic, and what it is stronger than depends on the dosage of each. It is not stronger than most dosages of Oxycodone, but is stronger than some. Oxycodone is the strongest product on the market approved to treat pain. Whether it is stronger than the others also depends on what dose of the Dilaudid you're asking about.
