Depending on whether you filled a script at a licensed pharmacy, received a pain pill at a hospital, or obtained it through other means, the answer to this question should be pretty obvious in that licensed pharmacies and hospitals usually dispense identifiable tablets. I'm a chronic pain patient who is wheelchair-bound due to the pain after a gunshot and I have just been increased from 20mg of Oxycodone. I was taking the NP 14 20mg and was increased to the 30mg Oxycodones; so what color of the 30mg's Oxycodones are the strongest or what number or imprint is the strongest? I was issued the 30mg Oxycodone with 30 on one side and RP on the other which is not helping as I thought it was, therefore I would like some information on what pill would be more beneficial for pain relief... What markings are on the roxy 20mg pill? Also, what color are they? ## Well, first I'd like to explain that Roxicodone is not an immediate release formulation of Oxycodone, it is the regular release formulation. The only dosage available in the OxyIR is a 5mg capsule. Anything over 5mgs and in tablet form is either the regular release (Roxicodone), or the time released formulation, which is known as Oxycontin. That said, there is no 20mg Roxicodone tablet, the only 20mg available is a time released Oxycontin, which has the OP on one side, the number 20 on the other and is pink. I just picked up my prescription from a mom n pop pharmacy. Seems like every other month they have a different manufacturer. Trust me I know - they buy the cheapest brand lot available at the time. But these new ones I just got are horrible. They're produced by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. They are blue in color and HARD as a rock!!! I am having some concerns regarding this med from WALGREENS. They are pale yellow....I chewed on one and looked at my tongue. What I saw was very unusual. The substance of the pill was very bright yellow. It was gummy on texture like a eatery spackle or paste. It was thick and didn't dissolve. It had no taste really. I left it on my tongue for 20 minutes. I had zero numbing to my tongue. I used to break part of a pill and place on a breaking tooth...it would numb the nerve very quickly.
