I see a new doctor and would like to know if anyone knows how many oxycodone they are allowed to give before it's red flagged? ## Well, this is a little late, but thought i'd answer anyway in case anyone else looks it up....and I don't know if it varies by state, but in PA, I saw the 'report' the pharmacist has to submit(i THINK it was only for controlled substances), and it read like a damn government spy report, it was so pathetic... I guess the pharmacist gave it to me by accident. Anyway, one of the check boxes was 'More than 180 units?' So i guess it's 180 pills, then they had to special report it(to whom, i don't know.). I wish i had kept that paper, as I'm sure very few people have ever seen one,but this was over a year ago(from march 2017)...

small mint green pill ## On posts such as this, without more details, there is actually no way for anyone to confirm whether or not the tablet in question was Oxycodone. The reason for this is due to the fact that the colors actually don't mean anything, it is the markings on a tablet or capsule that enable it to be identified. If they wanted to, any given manufactured could toss the proper coloring agents into all of their pills to make them a mint green color, the could make them all round and as close to the same size as they could, there are no regulations preventing them from doing so. That said, there are several round, green tablets that contain Oxycodone in the regular release formulation that is a generic for Roxicodone, but as I said, with only this limited information pro...

I am detoxing soon and is really important as I reduce down from apx 160mg(2are60mg long release) W/5mg for breakthru pain. Dr is retiring and I had scripts for all. ## IF it is oxycodone 15mg IR hints the IR that means instant release unless you have your pills confused that narcotic is a instant release form,Oxycontin stands for continous release so if it is oxycodone then it is not extened release. ## This tablet is actually neither the immediate release, nor the extended release, it is just the regular release 15mg, generic for Roxicodone. do they make 15mg oxycodone with no HCL ## Hello, Tony! How are you? I think you're misunderstanding what the HCL stands for, that means it's Oxycodone Hydrochloride. It's not a separate ingredient, it just designates the precise chemical salt that the Oxycodone is derived from, so it's all Oxycodone HCL. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The 20 mg tablets also contain polysorbate 80 and red iron oxide. But I don't think that has any impact on the absorption rate. I hope this info helps! Aurobind oxycodone 15mg. Dont even constipate me and im on 4 a day. They do give me a severe headache and suck. The 10mg a day did way better but my pharmacist thinks I'm crazy and trying to run some type of game. Anyone else chim in if u agree thanks. ## We are all different, so we may all react differently to any given medication. The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. But not everyone experiences them. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? They are the person who decides your dosage, not your pharmacist. Are you on any other medications?

Does this has Tylenol in it.......I'm allergic to aspirin causing my kidneys to shut down......I told the pharmacist and she said "this or nothing".....should she be allowed to do this? ## No, the manufacturer, Rhodes Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as just containing 15mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Yes, she can. It's what your doctor has prescribed and she can't change it and she can only give you the generic that her pharmacy has available. But Tylenol and Aspirin are not the same thing, Tylenol contains Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with?

They can be taken together, as long as your doctor approves, though there is no Percocet that contains 15mgs of Oxycodone and you have to be careful not to exceed their dosing instructions. Can u tell me how the np 13 yellow pill is different from light blue 15's? I understand u are saying they are both oxycodone, 15 mg', but there is something very different on relief recieved. Why would that be the case? ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. Additionally, generics are not required to measure against each other, only against the name brand, so that can sometimes create problems, if someone is sensitive to medications, any slight fluctuation could cause them problems. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window, and most people never experience a difference, but sometimes, it can cause a problem. The g...

The only thing you can really do is try the one that your pharmacy has available and see if it alleviates your pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Several of us have found the oxycodone manufactured by ZyGenerics to be very effective. We are unable to purchase this brand at Walgreens, Safeway or Kroger stores. Suggest you look for a smaller independent pharmacy that can carry the products they choose. It seems everyone on pain meds illegally has resorted to their local H dealer , then resulting in family members robbing your home and pawning anything of value with no reguard for the impact the theft has done on the person/s the H addict has stolen from, so please think before trying to find an alternative , it usually ends very bad ! I've seen many old friends and family either commit suicide, murder eachother , or accidently overdose , also people are sabatoshing by giving what's called hot shots and or the skin eating disease , worse thing is living with the blood born diseases contracted by sharing the needle or many other ways ! What is the difference between the pale blue tablet that says E7 and the regular mint green oxycodone 15 mg? Is one stronger than the other by any chance? Or are they exactly the same just different colors and a little different shape because of the manufacture? ## It has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Epic Pharma LLC. Generics are commonly manufactured by multiple pharmaceutical companies, because it creates market competition to help keep prices lower. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. is there a difference between the oxy-IR 5 mg pills vs. the capsules. I have a bad reaction to the pills but not the caps. Thanks. ## What type of reaction did you have? There can be differences in generic medications, they are allowed to differ, in the active ingredient, from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%. For most people, such fluctuations are not a problem, but some people are very sensitive and can experience problems. In addition, the chemical salts also do not have to be exactly identical, so if the manufacturer of the pills used one that is slightly different, that could also have caused your problem. Are there any other questions?

I have been on Percocet 10/650 for around 8 yrs. now for my back. They cannot do surgery because the bone and discs in my spine are not strong enough to hold any type of device. They have now changed it to Oxycodone 15 mg but doesn't seem to help. Is Oxycodone 15 stronger than the Percocet 10/650? I am NOT looking for drugs and the high that some give. My profession is very important to me and I would NEVER risk loosing it due to drugs, however, I am on my feet for at least 12 hrs. a day on concrete. I am just curious if the Oxy 15 is stronger and better to take or is there something better. ## The problem may be caused by the lack of Acetaminophen, it generally enhances the effects of the Oxycodone and helps it work better.
