The reason for this is due to the fact that the colors actually don't mean anything, it is the markings on a tablet or capsule that enable it to be identified. If they wanted to, any given manufactured could toss the proper coloring agents into all of their pills to make them a mint green color, the could make them all round and as close to the same size as they could, there are no regulations preventing them from doing so. I just renewed my prescription for 15mg oxycodone and noticed they are a different colored green (darker green) than the last ones. I'm also noticing that this new script is not working for my pain and wonder if anybody else has had these kind of issues? Is it better to just get the actual roxicodone and not the generic? I am a 90% disabled veteran after 25 years of military service and took a hit in Iraq during the first phase of the ground war. I hated being on 40mg x3 per day of oxyconton, (experienced extremely rapid episodes of pure rage). I talked to my VA doctor & pain mgmt. Doc, to walking it down. My pharmacy has been switching prescription generics between 15 mg oxycodone HCL tablets for more than a year now. It is not unusual for me to get a new generic every time I fill my prescription and in many instances they will give me two different forms of the generic for one prescription because they switch so often. They have now put me on AUROBINDO which does not work at all for my chronic pain and if that wasn't bad enough they also provide counterfeit information in the form of paperwork claiming that the drug I have been given is actually manufactured by Mallinkrodt. I take Oxycodone for pain and usually take the 15mg ones and I went out of town and due to the strick rules had to take some leftover 10mgs. Here is the thing they don't seem to help as much even doing the 15 so 1 and half of a 10. Should be the same mg for mg but it wasnt in fact I even had some withdrwal type feeling. Why is that? Has anyone else had the issue? Does anyone know if 2 15mg morphine tabs would be equal to 1 30mg oxycodone. Both are immediate release. I have been on the 30's but due to my upcoming surgery my Dr. feels that I need stronger pain med's. trying to find out what company makes these ## What are the markings on the tablet? That is the information that would enable it to be identified and see who manufactures it. There are several that could be considered to be a peach color and are listed as containing 15mgs. Just as an example, one has the marking 113 on it and is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals.
