i was given blue and peach capsules filled with peach colored fine power substance inside but no imprints or marking on them, im being told they are OXYCODONE 5/100 mg...i cant find them anywhere in pill finder.does anyone know anything about them ? im lead to believe all pills in the U.S. must have an imprint on them to be able to ID them .... ## That is true of manufactured prescription medications. However, there are pharmacies that specially compound some medications, as ordered by a physician. In this case, if this is a 5/100 that is not something that is available as a standard dosage, so a doctor would have had to specially order it and the patient would have to have had it put together by one of these compounding pharmacies. I was on Oxy Ir 5, taken off market, then put on oxycodone capsule tan brown, now they are not avaliable, substituted 5mg QLT. do not work. are all of the capsule..even 15mg off market? what is still avaliable? ## I too was on the capsules and now my pharmacy can no longer get them and I have been switched to tablets. This is a narcotic opiate that is used to treat severe pain. The FDA warns that is carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. oxycodones were compounded Here in FL due to shortage of tablets, different pharmacies use different capsules so there is no set color & being pharmacies have compounding liscenses they don't have to mark the pill being if ur looking them up chances are your not prescribed to take them.. anyway hope this post was useful. ## Thank you for your informative post! I've been taking 30 mg oxycodone for about 3 years now and I've been going to the same pharmacy for about a year and a half but was told yesterday that they will no longer b carrying them. I've been to about 40 pharmacies in 2 days and I'm having no luck. I've heard a lot about the capsules. Most Oxycodone medications are available in tablet form, there are only a few available in capsules, such as the immediate release Oxycodone. Or did you mean something your doctor specially ordered to be done by a compounding pharmacy? Oxycodone is a narcotic and will work as such, regardless of what form it is in, however, it is sometimes coupled with Acetaminophen, to enhance its effects, in preparations such as Percocet.

563 peach pill ## yessir ## The only tablet I can find that is close to this has PLIVA on one side with the 563 on the other and it contains 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine, the active ingredient in Flexeril. Why do the teal 30mg capsules taste like mildew? ## A lot of people actually think Oxycodone tastes pretty foul and bitter ("awful" may even be a more accurate description lol). I can't imagine being on it for too long if you have to choke it down every time. Although I do wonder if some brands or manufacturers actually taste worse than others... Florida now has 32 milligram Capsules Coming from compounding pharmacies they are not allowed to do 30 milligrams capsules because of copying right infringement laws. the capsule i saw had no imprints or colored lines separating the red and blue.... was this an authentic oxycodone 30??? ## If there were no imprints, then it wasn't a legal, manufactured Oxycodone from the U.S. They are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only way a capsule containing Oxycodone wouldn't have imprints, would be if a doctor specially ordered a certain dosage and combination of the medication, which had to be done by a compounding pharmacy. In those cases, the capsules are also usually clear, not red and blue. Are there any other questions? ## I just got the same thing.
