Does anyone have the problem of after about 10 years Oxycontin doesn't really work anymore? My son has been on 40's for that long after a severe car accident. He broke his back and neck, but they just don't really take the pain away anymore, please help if possibile. Is there something else that would work better? He just is in pain all day everyday and I hate to see him like this. Thank you very much. ## Tell your son that he should try fentaly patches (not sure of spelling. Sounds like this(Fen tin all). My mother was on them for a long time almost 7 years. They are highly additive so tell him to be carefull ## They also make the oxtcontin in 60 80 120 and 160mg pills to maybe that will work for him. There have been many complaints about this new Oxycontin OP not being as effective as the original product and about it causing unusual side effects. Hello everyone & top o' the mornin to ya! the medicine you are speaking of and have described, is in fact, a 20mg oxycodone. Ok I'm talking 10mg of oxycodone, they are very tiny and pink. My question is I hear people say they take 5/500....or some numbers like that and their round and white. What is the difference? My Dr told me to take two in the morning and 2 in the evening. Zydus brand, I was taking endo brand with only side effect of occasional constipation! otherwise the medication was working well for my after neck surgery care chronic pain etc,, then 5 days ago got the brand zydus! Day 1: vertigo nasua tiredness felt so sick & severe migraine! Very underdosed, I am in disbelief there is not a recall. I have to take twice the amount to sustain comfort compared to mallincroft brand. These tiny little pills are white with 15 on one side. I have an oxycodone 30 tablet. It was in my pocket and went through the washer. Somehow it is still kind of together. Will it hurt me to take it? ## It wouldnt be recommended, because there is a good chance that it has absorbed some of the chemicals used in the wash cycle, such as the products in the laundry detergent and/or fabric softener. This is the first time I've been given this tiny yellow oxycodone 15mg it's the smallest 15mg I've ever been given by my pharmacy. Has anyone else had these before? I'm use to the green 16mg A214's.
