I was hoping there might be a pharmacy in st lucie county that will fill my oxycodone prescription if my doctor is in another county. I know that in the past I was not able to do this but I thought maybe it had become easier. Or if anyone knows of a pharmacy in Broward County that will fill my prescription for me at my ideas from Saint Lucie County I would appreciate the help. I am looking for a dr. in Nassau county that will prescribe 30 mg. oxy. I broke my back and had a fusion, and I still have to have one more fusion... yet my dr. will only prescribe 15 mg. Been having a very difficult time finding a pharmacy that has 20mg Oxycontin's in stock. Everywhere we've gone, does not have them. One the Medicine Shop doesn't carry them at all. I have had 4 nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and allergic reaction to suboxone and fentalyn for three herniated discs lower back. I had to go back to oxycontin. My doctor has stopped taking workers' comp and I can't find another pain management doctor that will prescribe meds. I have been told that an operation cannot guarantee being pain free, and may make me worse, which I can't imagine living with. My life is consumed with living with this, and the government should stay out of the doctor patient relationship or question it for people who do not use drugs recreationally or abuse them. Does suboxone help with severe pain? I have had several back surgerys and have severe hip pain. I have been on dr perscribed oxycontin and loritab. Seeing a new dr who only perscribes suboxone. Will I continue to have pain being on this medication? ## Suboxone is mainly prescribed for opiate withdrawall in the states. I,ve read that other countries use it for pain relief. I,ve been prescribed it for opiate withdrawall but have pretty severe leg pain. It does help me with this pain. Some people say it does nothing for pain, I disagree. I was taking (1) 5 mg of oxycodone a day for 10 months for countless surgeries. When I tried to stop taking the 1 pill a day I would go through extreme pain muscel and nerve pain that felt like my body was on fire and would not allow me to sleep. Even with trying sleep aids like Tylenol pm and Benadryl. I went to the doctor to see if he could prescribe something to help me sleep through the night. He put me on (2) 8 mg a day of suboxone. The closest looking Oxycodone 30mg pill I found is round and blue with a marking of K | 9.
