Oxy Op 30

Okay I've got one of these from a friend because my backs been in pain a few days out of the week usually. Last week I took about 5 vicodin in 2 days.. But this is a 30op oxy and ive never messed with something this strong.. So what I'm getting at.. Is it safe for me to take this knowing I have a low tolerance? I'm about 100lbs.. ## If you have a low tolerance to narcotics, taking this could be risky, due to the fact that it can cause depression of the central nervous system and since Oxycodone is very potent, the starting dose is usually much lower. why is is it a issue for a person using out of pocket cash as oppose then using a health issuance plan , epecially when i dont have health issuance ## What issue are you asking about? I have CHRONIC back pain(was hit be a truck 8 yrs ago. Are their any of old OC's being distributed, that's long acting OC's. I was taking 80 mg of OC for 8 years they were great. I am on both of these meds do to severe medical issues. I take 40 Mg of opana 4 x daily and 30 Mg of oxycodone 5 x daily as well as Nortriptyline 150 Mg twice daily and neurontin 600 Mg 3 x daily. Needless to say a few different stomach medication due to chronic nausea. Oh and also phenergan pills and injectable. My question is has anyone found anything other than multiple medications to relieve severe chronic pain. ## I also have severe medical problems and nothing works. can i split one in half or quarter ## No, it is not safe to cut and divide these tablets. This is a 30mg Oxycontin tablet, which contains the narcotic Oxycodone in a time released formulation. Cutting or breaking the tablet could result in your getting too much of the medication, at once, which could result in overdose. The new formulation is supposed to help prevent this, but the danger is always there. If you need a lower dosage, you should speak to your doctor about prescribing it in a lower dose or different formulation. I just got my roxy's filled. i have been on both oxycotin 80mg and opana 40mg, i started off on opana and when they were changeing the ingred. i had to go on oxycotin 80 mg, i will always say opana 40 are alot stronger than oxycotin 80s i get alot more pain relief on opanas, i read all the time its 10mgs of opana to 30mgs of oxycotin i believe it.... ## Hello, Delta!
