What is it and what is it used for? ## hi, am diabetic and have been put on mixtard infusion twice a day by my doc, however pimples have invaded my face and yet i have had no pimples before. Coud this be a bad effect of the drug? if so what effective remedies could you suggest for the pimples. So a friend of mine was trying to tell me that they make a 60,80 and 100mg IR oxycodone. Not ER oxycontin but IR, I told him he was crazy the highest mg they make for IR is the 30mg Roxicodone. He said they do make them in pill form but choose not to tell us about them because of the already crack down on opioids. I was just wondering if anyone out there has either seen heard of or ever had one of these pills.My guess is they dont make them. ## You are correct, the immediate release formulation of Oxycodone is only available in dosages up to 30mgs. I'm currently taking 100mg of oxycodoe a day (20mg via percocet and 80mg via oxycontin) as well as 200mg daily of tramadol. I'm taking these as prescribed for chronic pain. My concern is, that after almost 2 years of being on these pain meds with the dosage increasing as my tolerance builds over time, if the Dr's are able to fix what is causing my pain, are there meds that will help ween me off the oxy? I'm terrified of the withdrawls. My second concern is, if they can't fix what is wrong, are there alternative meds for the pain? I can't imagine increasing the doses forever. what kind of pill is this ## I was only able to locate that it could be Roxycontin 100 mg. I was not able to find a picture of this pill, so I am not 100% sure. Does anyone else know? I have got prescribed some medication and it is a pill that has p325 on it and it is purple and I just wanted to know if it has anything like oxycodone or hydrocone in it ## When was this prescribed? This is a medication called Balacet, which contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene. The Propoxyphene is a mild narcotic pain reliever, but the reason I am asking about when it was prescribed is because it was pull from the market by the FDA back in November and no pharmacy should still be providing you with these tablets. Okay I've got one of these from a friend because my backs been in pain a few days out of the week usually. Last week I took about 5 vicodin in 2 days.. But this is a 30op oxy and ive never messed with something this strong.. So what I'm getting at.. Is it safe for me to take this knowing I have a low tolerance?
